    Second Crash (23:44:16) - Killing a Hogosha CSV in New Tokyo

    I am getting crashes with the game code more frequently these days so any advice would help

    (My game CTD black screen)

  • dunno

    it sounds like vanilla content, it should not crash at all

    Only dead fish swim with the stream.
    Don't discuss with idiots. They only drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience there.

    This is ten percent luck,
    Twenty percent skill,
    Fifteen percent concentrated power of will,
    Five percent pleasure,
    Fifty percent pain,
    And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!

  • I'm having the same issues as well.

    08:51:06.840 --> [x]:Crossfire Exit - CODE 00000001

    This happened has happened multiple times already. The first time it happened I had just docked with Fort Bush after finishing the first SP mission yesterday. The latest is what I just posted. Crashed upon trying to dock with the mining platform in Cambridge. Its name currently escapes me.

  • always when docking?

    if so then it is related to the landing animation scripts

    I tested them all in the past but was not able to reproduce the issue. Only just recently I had such a crash in one specific location.

    The crashes seem random and I need to figure out a reliable way of testing the issues.

    If its only a crash when docking it most likely is related to this.

    I can deactivate the scripts but would only be a temp workaround, not a real fix.

  • No all of the time, but it usually happens half an hour to 45 minutes or so once I load up a save file. Oddly enough, reverting the shaders to vanilla FL seems to have fixed that. Though I did quite enjoy the graphical updates.

  • which shader did you use?

    What shader option did you pick as I am using the DX 10/11/12 most of the time - this could also fix the Graphical issue I'm having with certain elemnts

  • I picked Vanilla FL option. Though sadly it seems to still crash when its loading a new station setting it hasn't used before. Not as often as it did on the DX 10/11/12, but it still happens. Exact same error code though.

  • working on the station docking issue

  • Okay, for some strange reason I only just now noticed, it seems like it crashes after just over four straight hours of playing without a break. I've had this happen to me a couple of times now, and as damning as this may sound, is it possible there is a memory leak somewhere?

    Here are the logs from the last three times I booted up the game.

    07:28:54.027 --> [i]:Prepare Crossfire Start

    07:29:01.957 --> [i]:Starting Crossfire

  • hard to tell

    maybe the eventviewer logds show more info

    what is shown in the launcher is only launcher related... not displaying the reasons for game crashes

    after four hours playing you probably should consider a short break anyways ;)
