    Multi Player - Same problem - Two Crashes in SOL system

    First one between Uranus and Saturn while traveling with JG.

    Second one as I am landing at Earth.

    Both throws me back to Battleship Essex in Dublin.

  • Start in Window other than main window

    Updated the launcher, start CF and Press ALT-Space, and a search bar pops up.

    It did remind me however you could hover over the running process on the taskbar to bring up the preview window, then right click on the header of the preview window and then bring up the menu to move the window with the keys.

    That allows me to move the windowed CF to my preferred monitor.

  • Start in Window other than main window

    I have multiple windows on my system .

    I would like to start in windowed mode and drag the game to another window, or start in non-windowed mode on another window of my choice.

    is this possible - I am sure I remembered you could drag the window around, it it does not seem possible any more.

    Also i windowed mode, the cursor seems to leave the screen a lot, and the game "hangs" until your cursor is back in the game.
    Is this how it's supposed to be ?

    Any information greatly appreciated

  • BOND connection problem to Swat Portal

  • RESET SP and WINDOW options

    nope.. it does not on my system. I have even re-booted in between.


    Try ticking it a few times .. it looks like there is a programming error in that it does a x +=1 on the values whenever you tick them.


    I ended up with both values at 2 . 3 . 4 etc .. Had to manually set them back to 0

    ANSWER -


    In the freelancer/exe folder is the launcher.ini file ( the first few lines) - set the options to a zero ( 0 ) option and save the file.


    Run Single Player , and DO NOT update when the update is offered.


    This resets the file from Windowed to non-windowed and also reset the Open SP option.

  • Error launcher

    right click on your Freelancer folder and select "Properties" then untick the "Read-only" option.


    Secondly, on the Freelancer Crossfire icon on the desktop, right click and select Properties, then Security Tab.


    Make sure all the users and groups has Full Control Permissions.

  • RESET SP and WINDOW options

    It seems that the new launcher allows me to SET SP and WINDOW modes, but not de-activate them.


    Anyone know where to deactivate he options, as unticking the two option boxes does not release the modes.

  • Server issues

    I have had the problem last night as well, and was told that the server is offline, even though the green server light is shining.

  • CF2.0 works on Windows 10 Technical Preview

    CF 2.0 works on Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 9860 X64.


    I have to run Vanilla Shaders and not seeing the Intro Movies, but I suspect it's my graphics card as my normal card blew and I am using an el-cheepo replacement in the meantime.


    Followed normal installation procedures , (installing to c:\freelancer folder), then selected the c:\freelancer forlder and removed the "readonly" attribute and everything seems to work fine.

    The whole history and story of SA is rolled into Omega 3. I am sure a new home can be found if really needed, but I also vote for Omega 3 for SA.


    SA has never stopped anyone - even those on the "banned list" from using the IC jumpgate. In fact, in some events we have even invited banned players to join the events.

    mmmm I don't have VB 6 installed, but let me install VS2010 and see if it makes a difference

    No difference - the Error still there and the launcher does not update


    Single player works fine.
