combat advice

    Hey Guys ,i am an OK combat pilot but i am doing the mission where u have to a convoy,but before i can kill the npc pilots the mission times out with a mission fail because i have lost 4 allies ,my ship does not have the weapons needed to kill these npc's in a timely fashion,is there a way to delay the start of the first mission until u can but a better ship with more fire power? i tried to decline the 1st mission with junko but when i tried to buy a ship after that game crashed,is there a space between missions that i can do some freelancing and pick up the story line again later,or is there a trick to killing npc ships now that they have nanobots & shield batteries?;(;(

    Is this the very first mission?


    Well... after accepting it, I think you can buy a Patriot. I personally used Patriot with four Lavablades Mk3. Sure, they've got slow projectile, but I tended to get rather close and personal, and I used half-salvo rapidfiring. Perhaps you could use a Rhino if you're fine with hiding in a metal bawks less agility but more firepower.

    its not the 1st mission but the 2nd i think.like i said i am an ok combat pilot maybe these nps fighters should have been given less nanobots & shield batteries imho.

    In the 2nd mission you can go for Defender. But what you describe (telling off Juni and then CTD when trying to buy a ship) happens before the first mission.

    (Case in point, convoy escorting and then searching for the Rogue base is both the first mission).


    Strange. I'm awful at combat and I'm finding the NPCs manageable.

    Hello Odin Kree ... look next video. Using slowly firing guns with big damage can work for you much better.
