1. That thinks other players shields regenerate faster than mine in PVP but when I scan them all their shields and bots are still fully loaded?
2. That wishes that all minefields were removed from Crossfire?
3. That thinks Corsairs move diabolically in combat?
4. That wishes NPCs should disenage from combat when we talk to other people?
5. That wishes we could meet Trent and Juni online and take on missions with/for them?
Is it just me

1) no, ive had this happen to me many times
2) no, everyone does.
3) no, Hessians in Stillettos and Unioners in Falcons/Hawks move, 'diabolically' as well
4) no, only if they're a real threat........meaning Nomads or DK
5) yes, since your SP character is Trent himself, and Juni now apparantly works for the coalition (she is the Karak saleswoman in Vorkuta, i do belive). -
5. no thats not juni
oh and it is possible to take missions from them in mp if i would decide to make it possible -
The removal of the minefields would be nice.

Minefields are there to prevent you from getting to something/somewhere you were not supposed to get.
Have you been searching for things you shouldn't be looking for?

Have you ever known me to do otherwise?

The minefield in Custodian doesn't make much difference, all it does is lengthen the route, if you really want to use mines to make the system more secure, you should do what they did with the alaska gate in NY, put a minefield all around it except for a small tunnel. That would be cool cuz then you could mount more effective security. Otherwise I don't see the point of the minefield.

There is one, but the Alaska - NY gate is inactive.
As for minefields, I don't think in all reality that anti-ship mines in space make any sense. Space is vast and without many physical obsticals. The only reason mines are used in water and land is because the odds of something going over them on a 2D plane is a likelihood. When you factor in volume to the field you end up with something astronomically expensive and completely inneffective. Mines are not cloaked so what would stop somebody from shooting them or tractoring them out of the way? A game is a game I suppose but if you want to talk about effective defenses for systems mines aren't the ticket
As Pandora suggested, the reason for minefields in this game isn't to defend things, it's to be annoying and make people think twice before having to circumnavigate them and waste time. In custodian's case it's to give BG members time to get in front of the X-3043 jg, and in Hiruga and Tomsk it's to make it a rediculously difficult to get at "rare" and powerful items.
