Do game updates count?
I'm getting hyped about future World of Warships updates due to upcoming Italian Cruiser line, submarines and a ton of other interesting ships.
Also, each update means game activities with nice rewards.
Naturally, I'm also waiting for the second part of the Lost Fleet update in FL CF.

ED is open space game where you can freely do what you like. It have narrative content, but it is more or less optional ... if you like it, there is allot of it, however it may need some experience and know knowledge resources becasue ED universe is HUGE .. you can spent all your RL with flying there from one system to another and never wisit the same place twice. It have ofc hotposts etc., so if you will chose play mode (open/group/solo) which allow interaction with others, you will meet other cmdrs regularly. There is also more different players groups with different interests, so everyone can find one which he may like ... all depends if you will like such type game or not.

yeah, i got a RTX card a few weeks ago after my gtx 1080 started to make problems (sold it -> still works but became a bit unreliable)
Raytracing has not been the killer argument for switching for the simple fact that only very few games even support it and the visual difference in my eyes is minimal in most of these games.
Reflections and lighting effects have existed before RTX eventhough they were kinda faked...
Main reasons for RTX:
1. you dont get anything else (except AMD products -> and i did not have much luck with AMD in the past)
2. the rtx card did cost less money than my previous GTX card
3. performance reasons

definitely something to look forward to in the future ive read alot of reviews on tthe 1080 i was looking at getting the 1080ti hard to choose lol to many great cards out just means more research i suppose haha.
how you getting on with the RTX card are there noticeable performance improvements over the 10 series cards im still using my trusty GTX 750ti has been solid for me over the years not one issue and i have overclocked mine aswel squeeze alittle more juice out of it i can still play all games that are oput except for forza horizon 3 only game it has issues with but maybe down to my cpu and not so much on my gpu

the rtx 2070 super is about 16% faster than the GTX 1080... so yeah something improved
however I fail to see the need to have a RTX 2080 or even RTX 2080 ti.... I mean how high does your frame rate have to be? In most games I have 150-200 FPS which is total nonsense actually since the refresh rate of the monitor most certainly is lower.
I by default cap my FPS at 75 because thats what my monitor can handle and that leads to the pleasant side effect that the graphic card runs at 53°C under "load" (thats not even 30% load actually) without even activating the fans (I have not seen them spinning at all except for a benchmark test).

once there are more games supporting it it might be worth it
but even then it depends on how the game utilize it
like i said... lighting and reflections existed before RTX
its just a bit more accurate now
in the end often personal taste... many people wont notice a big difference
