  • Hopefully these will help tell the stories of CF and her occupants for 1.6. Here are the first sets, right now I'm concentrating on the clan systems, past and present.

    Casius-
    Core Station:
After the Chaos Exoddus War this station was taken over and turned into a armor plating smelting plant. This station is not particularly any interest, just another key station of Crossfire ecomonics.

    Planet Rodez:
The liberation of Rodez was not an easy one, the Alliance lost many good men on this planet at the hands of the Chaos. Dubbed the Planet of Treason because of it's previous occupants, it is now the sight of major re-terraforming efforts to uncover natural resources lost during the atomic bombing of the Arrion Fortress. The debris field in orbit is the sight of the bloodiest, and last, space battle between the Bloodguard and Chaos fleets, the Battle of Serenity. Here lies the forgotten souls of the lost during that battle. The field now sits quietly as Junkers continually transport scrap metal to Core Station to be re-smelted.

    Regalis-
    Jade Outpost:
The primary home of the Ice Pirate Order. These outlaws were more diplomatic, reckless kids flying around the galaxy. The IP Order fell to corruption after their first leader disappeared in a shuttle accident on Lima. This faction is only known for the uprising of the now lawful pilot, Baldwin. This station serves as a hub and home for many of the smugglers operating in Crossfire space.

    Planet Lima:
Known for its lush jungles and populated coastal towns, this was the planet that the IP spent down time on shore leave. The diamond run that the IP used to run has been depleted and the planet nearly ignored. Lima has mostly been abandoned from all travel since the fall of the IP, except the occasional tourist boat that makes it past the Outcasts.

    Vespus-
    Proxima Station:
Nothing much to say about this station except it serves as a early warning station for all PiA activity and an expiremental weapons labratory. Carved out of a huge chunk of ice that was once part of a frozen mass that supported life during the Dom Kavash era, it houses about 300 military and science personel.

    Planet (forgot):
Home of the Psychos in Action (PiA). This planet is no more then a green, living rock in space. (PiA can add their story here.)

    Custodian-
    Neutro Station:
Home of the Blood Guard Academy. Here our new recruits live, sleep, and eat in the barracks of Neutro. Basic training is conducted here where the BG trainers will guide you through basic fight and combat manuevers; when you are done you will graduate and recieve advanced tactical combat training. This outpost is right outside the jumpgate hub so it is constantly under attack. Use your training or die. Should you require more training dont hesitate to ask our brilliant instructers.

    Planet Baso:
Planet of the Blood Guard's red squadron. This planet is currently being terraformed into a tropical urban setting that will rival even Planet Cortez. Its leadership is set under the Alliance military heriarchy, however the leader of the BG's red squadron is presented with a baronship of the land.

    Planet Granu:
Home of the BG's yellow squadron. This is part two of the BG trade route in Custodian where you take your whiskey and take light arms back to Planet Blood. The planet's terrain is a cliff-side community with old cardamine fields. Its leadership is set under the Alliance military heriarchy, however the leader of the BG's yellow squadron is presented with a earlship of the land.

    Planet Monoc:
The hangars for the blue squadron of the Blood Guard were built here on Monoc. Obviously a water planet that has plenty of sub-terrian and underwater communities. Its leadership is set under the Alliance military heriarchy, however the leader of the BG's blue squadron is presented with a dukeship of the land.

    Planet Blood:
Home of the three leading members of the Blood Guard evildragon wing, and the start of the BG trade run. Take whiskey to Granu and follow instructions there. Only the most deicated Blood Guard members get to enter the halls of the Blood Alliance Palace. Its leadership is set under the Alliance military heriarchy, however the leaders of the BG are presented with a shared imperial seat of the land and of the faction.

  • Set #2

    Outpost Psi
One of the Corsair's refueling stations in Crossfire space. It was taken over during a trojan horse operation when Corsairs docked in a armored transport and used expiremental PPC(Pheonix Project Cannon) turrets to mow down the Alliance troopers that controlled the docks. It is one of five original human stations in Crossfire history.

    Outpost Zeta
The purple sun of Enigma only increases the ominous look of Outpost Zeta. It is the infamous Corsair prison were inhuman and immoral expirements happen to captured soldiers, prisoners, and slaves. The warden will welcome you with open arms if you are allied with the Corsairs, however start praying if you are not. It was one of five original human statons of Crossfire.

    Outpost Epsilon
Carved out of the black uranium laced diamond material, it is the home of the military commanders of the Confederate Empire, though it is owned and operated by the Outcasts. Even the most powerful Liberty Death Cannons cannot penetrate this defense. It is one of the first five stations in Crossfire history.

    Outpost Delta
It was first a memorial to the lost heros of the Nomadic Wars carved from one of the chunks of the dead planetary mass from X-3043. The Bundschuh took it over and converted it into a fully functional shipyard. It was the last of five stations first built in Crossfire space.

    Battleship Pollux
The Pollux has a long and honorable service record dating back 15 years before the Nomadic Wars. She was ordered to stand down for decommisioned 2 years ago but the recent uprising of the Confederate Empire forced the Britonian Military to assign her and her captain back to patrol duty.

  • Later tonight or tomorrow I'll make more infocard stories, but I would like Fallen, LP, and PiA to please post a paragraph summarizing a little about the clan and it's past "history" in Crossfire to add to your system's planet.

  • What about sprucing up the infocards for the SL ships? Sure, they're fine the way they are, but as someone who's never played Starlancer, I have no insight into those ships' origins when I play CF. It would be awesome to know, for example, what the "historical" role of the Shroud was, compared to, say, the Hades or Sai. Just a thought.

  • O_o

well yes those are my ships but i dont really see the need in changing those infocards

i mean which historical role should a shroud have? its a japanese ship... a light fighter prototype
but that was more than 800 before FL and those SL ships used in CF are "reconstructions" base on the hull of those old alliance ships with normal sirius technology

not more... not less... and i think thats exactly what the infocards are saying

  • I still need a short, two paragraphed backstory from all severclans.

I need stories from DaD, PiA, DC, LP, Fallen, and the CFPD to add to the info cards for your system's planet.

Infocard writing will continue Monday after my damn school settles down.

  • Fair enough, but maybe think aout making them a little less repepititive, I mean, no offense, but the info cards for alot of the new ships are maybe 95% the same.

So you want information that would be equivelent to the info cards for NPC factions? If this is the case, then I will send something for the DC asap (assuming that I can get some info about the clan first). ;)

  • You know putting the backstory on the clanbanner for each of the clans might be a good idea, because having it on the clan's main planet/station seems a little strange to me.
