in CF, 750k credits is chump change.

The average ship price for a CF non vanilla is roughly 9 million. But consider this:

An Armored Transport is about 19 Million
A Soulforge Train is about 56 Million
A full armed Battleship, depending on the type, costs upwards of 250 Million including ship price, guns, shield/armor upgrade etc

and on top of that, some ships require a lot of work just to get to the station that sells the ship beyond just making money to afford the ship.

And for that matter, there are subtle differences in the ship you might not realize or notice such as turn radius or acceleration rate.

Making money in CF requires a little patience and a lot of just grinding it out

now that you mention it, looks like they forgot to increase prices for some vanilla ships xD

750k for a titan is cheap, some missions pay more than that.

hence why i said 750k is chump change. Youre considered poor and low-income if thats youre balance. and CF doesn't have a welfare system

they're not too expensive. youre just broke. There's a nifty starter guide to earning big bucks in CF. Eventually you'll find someone to help you move BMGs from one end of the galaxy to the other. A loaded Soulforge Train with BMG at sold 20k a piece is 50 million

Think about this, it wouldn't be any fun if a new player got a sick ship early on without having to go through the grind of NPC missions or trading. It adds a level of balance and fairness

For example, you don't get all the gun attachments, perks and kill streak rewards in Call of Duty without having to play a bunch, right?

Now, I got lucky a while ago with a glitch at the Crossfire docks and made my fortune that way and ended up with a net worth of about 6 billion credits, but thats history

Theirs price remains low bcs they vanilla (purposely). Dunno if on all of them, but on Titan are easily lost hull parts in fight, parts which have the weapons hardpoints ... myself I like survive, but I also do not like lose ship guns. Therefore I tend to avoid use cheap ships where victory can be Pyrrhic one

yeah. Like cheap chinese iPhone knock offs. they use cheap material, don't use iOS and cost a fraction of a real iphone

I've noticed with Vanilla ships, hull parts get blown off in battle

vanilla ships kept their original prices... due to balancing reasons.

they allow weaker players to take an advantage during the story mode.

the other (new) ships have significant advantages over vanilla ships such as better weaponry, better turn rates, more armor, more bots/bats and more hitpoints (and yes, they remain in one piece)

yes, thought so. cos CF is a more dangerous universe so you need to get some power quicker.
the Pink Eagle or Black Eagle i think should be the go to ship for starting out cos, they only cost 558.550, also the old ships like the Sabre, Titan and normal Eagle when you eject cargo your Shield drops for 10 seconds or so, but the Pink Eagle and Black Eagle which are new ships, when you eject cargo your Shield stay up. also there look better

Also, Pink Eagle and Black Eagle can not lose wings unlike the original eagle (and they look better too, imo)

really, i did't know the Pink Eagle and Black Eagle can't lose there wings, that's awesome
and cos the black eagle is so cheap, you can easy just get some pods in New York then go buy it
the Starflier can even just go and get the chip in Death Valley, I've don it before
it's so fast and agile, you can get in and out before the nomads even see you
