    ok. because i'm a stoner, i know i'm not the only on Crossfire who smokes weed. i know a couple people, but i'm not sure if they'd like that kind of thing being publicly known about them, so i'll let them speak up :D


    now i dont want to start any flame wars let alone friendly discussions to start. generally because pot is illegal Federally (Colorado ftw!!!) and throughout most of the world and it's also a very controversial subject (in all of it's fact or fictional topics) i want to keep this a place where people who use marijuana medicinal and recreational can convene, share tips on growing, recommend munchies and associated recipies, or advertise some paraphernalia that one does not need or needs cash and has to part with $250 water bongs (always tragic :'( )


    keep in mind, i'm slightly paranoid that i'm spied on by the US Government (seriously, who'd spy on a stoner?) and plus this is a *technically* illicit drug we're talking about, so i ask you to keep a relax "open airwaves" state of mind (i.e dont talk about selling weed or advertise it or whatever. dont get me wrong, i've smoked some bomb diggity weed and boy do i have stories about that. if you have a less than favorable opinion on the stuff, do us all a favor: shut up, listen to funny stories or gtfo :)


    talk about the time you first smoked. what did you smoke, and what happened. i smoked two doobies and a bowl of Bubba Kush. in fact the second time i smoked is more interesting because after i had my fill, i fell out of the chair, and rolled around on my neighbor's floor for 3 hours...

    K, but it'll stunt your EQ! I can speak from experience, and when I looked around after about 8 years of hard partying, I realized I had gone exactly NOWHERE with my life in the meantime. So, the sooner you grow out of the habit, the sooner you can go on to a life of significance, where people will actually take you seriously. Not judging, just sayin'... 8|

    i dont party much, but your 8 years coming epiphany may have happened in 6 months for me (at least that's what it looks like in my situation) it sucks hard nuts...


    and i know i have stoner moments...but i never would have gotten into current events or other controversial subjects (how much would you believe me if i said the "Fruit" of that tree Adam and Eve ate from was the bud of a Marijuana plant. seriously! the Snake was the dealer, and as it's said in Genesis (to sum up) she ate it, freaked out that she was naked, gave some to Adam (freaked out too) made some garments from fig leaves (stoner ingenuity) and hid from God because they were naked (God potentially being a personification of The Law)

    Here's a funny but true story for ya,


    So a friend of mine bet me about a football game a few years back, the bet was for a new pair of Maui Jim sunglasses. I ended up winning the bet and was proud owner of a pair of sunglasses that I would never have paid that much for...but tbh, they were damn nice sunglasses!!!! About 3 months later I was picking up my wife from work on a cloudy day and had them sitting on the seat of the car when she got in.........can you guess what happened?...yes I heard crunch as my new shades got broken.


    Now comes the funny part. I decided to write to Maui Jims.


    Story as follows.


    Dear Maui Jim....thank you for making the awesome shades....they have saved my life. Let me explain, I was completely stoned when I tripped and fell. During the fall I landed flat on my face breaking my new Maui Jim shades. I am completely grateful that the frame broke before the lenses did otherwise I may have been seriously injured and blinded. Please can you tell me where I can have the frame replaced so I can continue to enjoy these awesome shades.


    A couple weeks later I received a response...........


    Dear Customer, We at Maui Jims sympathize with you and have decided to replace you sunglasses. That model frame is no longer available so we will let you choose any model from our current inventory, please contact us at @@@@. Note form VP of sales, when this letter was presented to me and the staff we laughed so hard we all decided you get a new pair of Maui Jims.

    i smoked a bowl or two of some really expensive and really domb biggity grass. because the swamp cooler in my apartment is extremely loud, it sometimes plays tricks on me. one particular occasion is when i was fixing myself some munchies (hot pockets if i recall) all of a sudden i heard something very similar to this (the opera like drone in the background

    because i was really really high, i started panicking because i didn't know what it was. i tried to ignore the drone from my swamp cooler, but since i'm a huge star wars nerd, i couldn't help but wonder if i was secretly at that performance in a past life and my brain and at this point i may go on a stoner tangent....


    anyway


    since i zoned out to the drone for 10 minutes, standing in the kitchen while my hot pockets sat patiently in the microwave, my ears started picking up more noises that for some reason made my swamp cooler much more musical that one could imagine. if listening to Tool blazed out of your mind is a good idea, listen to my swamp cooler at full blast (or Flux Pavillion's Bass Cannon...i've nearly lost my mind zoning out to that song...)


    moral of the story? remember to take you're hot pockets out of the microwave...lukewarm hot pockets aren't tasty

    Considering a junkie stayed at my house for a while, he did better than a guy i knew from Job corps who also smoked in the sense that the stoner guy from job corps fiended my weed and abused my hospitality after his ex kicked him out for the same reason....at least the junkie put some food in my fridge and a few bucks in my hand....

    And yea, seeing this I definately won't ever try that illegal stuff. Everything has secondary effects, even breathing, it actually kills you, reason of your aging. But some has worse effects than others, like weed ^^

    only thing negative about weed is it gives you mad munchies...anyone who's ever smoked will tell you no one has died from smoking weed...he's probably sleeping if anything....THC smoke doesn't kill brain cells...the lack of oxygen, however, does


    and the point of this thread being to congregate stories and tips, my favorite type of music to get stoned to consists of dubstep, down tempo/ambient, desert rock, rock and metal (and various sub genre's, progressive jazz, and Tech N9ne

    Smoking THC is against the law in Germany and i am proud that we have this law. It will be more abused than it can help (in some medical cases). Being stoned is counterproductive and it costs much money for a social market system like we have in Germany. Besides it breaks your brain with the time... Probably even the lungs need to suffer. And besides this - it stinks.


    I never smoked, but have seen a lot of friends and my brothers using weed or normal cigarettes. It does do more harm and actually its not funny!
    I can say - leave the fingers of this crap.


    PS: If used for medicine purposes it should be controlled and in no way it should be easy to get/buy this stuff free in drug shops.

    so does alcohol but nobody restricts it... so where is the meaning of it? i dont know and cant understand it either. statistically, more ppl die due to alcohol than weed.
    Im no fan of weed/drugs either but all the trouble about this topic doesnt make much sense, eh?
    actually i wanted to stay out of this discussion, but well, i couldnt^^
    the only thing i see why everyone "normal" is against weed is, that it is declared as illegal by the governement, but without any real reason.

    -no. that is not entirely correct... smoking weed isnt against the law, but having it in possession is illegal. yes thats german law, doesnt make much sense but it is written like this :)
