I hate people trying out new cheats

his levels keep varying from 42 to 21

I would also point out that if you don't reset your game after reboot and then try to buy something without getting the new economy files, it kicks you for cheating. Just sayin'.

Lol mikey, you said yourself to restart the game to avoid cheat detection and crash how many times already ?

I just pay attention. The game also will kick you for rebuying certain ships for some reason... Like back when we lost all built in equipment on cap ships and Elders. That was annoying...

But there's no kicking for rebuying a certain ship bug atm.... anyways if you see a bug call the Bug Busters lol (on the forum).

Please! before bringing in such things into it. USE your brain.
Couldn't it also have been that Dino was in the System with another one at the same time and just transfering money back and forth? .
I go up in ranks too, when I'm in a certain system with another one and transfer money from him to mine
Also when I fine chars - does it mean I'm cheating?

Same thing with this getting kicked for possible cheat by the server. It happend to me as well. - Does it mean I was cheating?

Please calm down and dont see a cheat in every single action.

Sure, I suspect some guys for cheating, and I also have an eye on them already.
But I think it's not such a good idea at all, to run around and say, He must be cheating because the console just said so.

I'm also sure the development staff is doing whats possible to improve the protection on that. So that people really only getting kicked (or banned) if they really cheat.

Until then, I would recommend just to calm down, not suspect a cheat in everyone who might be a bit better then you (counts for all)
It's already announced that in the next release, those guys will be surprised and probably be easier targets, since their "skills" are based on cheats right now.

If you think someone is cheating.. then simply STOP playing with him, stop fighting him. and report it to a GR or OP.

Every cheat is a cheat. I would apprichiate that your above posting would have been made clear to Riebens too when he was opening this thread. There is no difference between cheating of one Player or another, no matter of a Tag.

If you want to prevent this kind of posts please start at the beginning and not in the middle.

Correction, Riebens, I have been kicked for "cheating" before. And I don't cheat. You can ask OP. I'm sure he can easily find out whether or not someone is cheating.

The game's engine and the FLHook are not perfect, and the game does kick people for "cheating" when they just didn't reboot their game.

Also, SoA, the kind of cheating you are describing would be better done while Dino was not actually online. That's more of a hacking job.

I have been watching this thread now, and I feel like I must put something in here.
You may not have noticed if you never got kicked, but when you actually get kicked, no message comes up to tell you, all you know is you are suddenly on the server list.
I know that when I was starting, the first times I got kicked, I tried again 4 times, before somebody told me the problem, and I restarted my Crossfire.
I did not know back then you were meant to restart, as I was very new, and I had no idea why I kept ending outside the planet I was trying to sell at.
Just keep that in mind, before you make accusations.
Good work reporting it if you think there is a problem, but probably do it via Private Messages, so as not to start a large thread on it.
Just my input. Keep in mind I am still newish, so don't think I know much about what I am talking about. Hehe.
