High priority transport requires support

Hello mates,

The recent activities of Dom Setek, Dom Nepesh, Dom Razak, Sentinel, Warriors and Savages has shown that they gain strength by the day.

SMG has been handed highly dangerous documents which need to be delivered to the representatives of the Dom Kavash, who are going to hold a very importand meeting on Sunday April 24th.
The Governments of Sirius and the Dom Kavash have entrusted SMG with delivering these documents to Mitrak Battle Station in Weth.

SMG however, is bound by the conditions set forth by both parties and must comply with the conditions for delivery.
Only one pilot will be allowed to transport the cargo, and that pilot will not be allowed to engage any enemy ships or fire upon any opposing faction, to preserve the diplomatic status currently under negotiation.

Therefore, SMG offers all available pilots the opportunity to become part of an escort for the designated pilot to the destination.

Payment for the sucessful completion of the mission will be as follows:

each pilot who escorts sucessfully without dying and who reaches the objective, will be rewarded with 20 million credits.
each pilot who escorts but gets killed by enemy forces, will be rewarded with 10 million credits.

If the mission fails, every pilot will be given 15 million credits for effort, but the Dom Kavash will fine all pilots 5 million credits. (10 million payout)

Requirements for pilots:

- Ship equipped fully, including the necessary weaponry to engage enemy forces
- Neutral/Friendly reputation with the DomKavash, as required to enter the Inner Core
- Neutral/Friendly reputation with the factions of Bretonian Space, as required to meet up at the starting point
- Basic knowledge of the Inner Core systems as required to not get lost in the beginning
- ability to take instruction from the escort leaders

- NO CSF license mounted/CSF-tagged ship (required, to pass the Omega 3 System without any interruption by the system owners SA)

( remember, this is an escort mission and pilots should not engage the enemy when evasion is possible)

Issue date: April 24th, 2011
Issue time: 20:00 Crossfire Server time (GMT)
SMG recommends to show up 15-10 minutes prior the issue time, for preliminary instructions at planet Cambridge.

The final route will be given at planet Cambridge, to avoid being ambushed by enemy forces.

you are free to chose what ship you want to use, just fulfill the requirements as listed in the first post
because you have to fly the ship, no one else. you know which fits you better

why not saturday?

1st I do not want to interfer with some scheduled regular events on the server, which are scheduled on Monday - Saturday 8:00pm - 10:00 pm server time (depeding on who is manager)
since there are events being announced but not held. Im not really sure what day would be a good day to perform such mission, in order to NOT have ppl to have to chose where to take part at.
2nd 20:00pm server time is also 21pm my time
3rd since it is easter, I thougth having it on sunday where a lot of ppl have off work on monday, might not be such a bad idea in general.

dont worry, if you can not attend, There might be some other opportunities for you to take part on further "missions"

Thanks for the reminder, but just to prevent such eventualities, I chose planet Cambridge as starting point. To not to interfere with any given System usage requirements

Unfortunately Easter is trying to sabotage that transport. Therefore the participating pilots needs to provide more power and be more attentive.

The representatives of the DomKavash have just delivered the information that those documents certainly needs to be delivered on Sunday regardless of the circumstances.
DomKavash representatives pointed out that they don't care for any vacation, holidays or family reunion in order to find a solution for the still rising problems according to the housing threats.
The representatives however mentioned that the reward for the sucessful delivering will be added by 5 milion credits additional to the first offer, for each pilot attending.

Summary:

transport needs to take place on Sunday
the reward for each pilot will be as follows:

mission successful: 20 million credits PLUS extra 5 million (according to the last information received from the DomKavash representatives) = payout in total 25 million credits
mission failed: 15 million credits for the effort MINUS a fine of 5 million (fined by the DomKavash representatives) = payout in total 10 million credits

pilots death during the mission: 10 million for effort for each killed pilot.

The transport escort was a successful mission.
SMG_Hexplore got killed in action but came back as soon as possible.

All other pilots were brave and successful escorting the data transport to Mirtrrak Battle Station in Weth.
Several tries to interrupt the transport got foiled. The DK representatives are very thankful for the delivering and rewarded all participiants with 25 million credits.

The next transport will be scheduled soon.
