which file is infected?
the mod was scanned prior it was uploaded to our server and to moddb (which does another scan)
and this is the first report of this kind

speaking of downloading the mod, I've tried several times using the external link. No objections yet from Kaspersky, but I keep getting incomplete downloads. Is there a better way to get the file, like bit torrent or something?
The Alert is new OP - i had several CF installs this year with no alerts - the alert came for me with a scanner database update.

Normaly there should be no problems while downloading, at least not for me the last times - probably you need to check your connection - it´s a large file.
well the file is known to have some issues as it overwrites some values in memory
i think adoxa even warned that it might cause probs
Installed this mod for the first time today and I have the same complaint with Zone Alarm Extreme Security regarding healing.dll and it quarantined the file from 2 locations.

investigating on that reports right now... maybe i can find out the source
Spyware doctor always detect a trojan on my pc when i install CF.......i always tell it to allow the trojan and it won't cause any more problems.
Mark down another tally for the Trojan report coming up on my end, same bug is being reported with the Crossfire 1.82.exe installer.
FAQ says it's supposed to be fixed but hey.

this one is a different problem not related to the earlier reports before the 1.82 release (again a false report that is fixed with cf1.9)

Now AV seem to have no name ! lol
like the "Zone Alarm Extreme Security", has no name and doesn't seem to be from a chain of older AV which got better each time... not saying anything about this one, but such AVs could be viruses themselves, like the offers yo uget when you're virused for real and tell to buy an AV to get your credit card 
And while the viurs makes as an AV, he (virus's owner) has exclusivity on that PC.
