Strange graphics

Textures aren't rendered = nothing strange.
By the way it looks like it's either:
Textures are missing
or
Messed up renderer(software related problem)
or
Messed up Graphics adapter(hardware related problem). -

NY and Texas share the same textures (should the same all over liberty)
ok... first things first: do you have this file "li_manhattan_bar.cmp" in ..\Freelancer\DATA\BASES\LIBERTY ?edit: while we are at it: what graphics card do you use? whats your driver version?
p.s. one question mark is enough.
edit2: Sometimes it's hard to pinpoint the problem then all you know is that something isn't being shown(unless you encountered the problem before and know the answer)

All advanced graphics were deactivated on installation(see starting post).
As mentioned : worked well the all over the day. But after suppertime base graphics went on strike. I didn't make the meal.
Fortunatly, the gameplay in space isn't affected.
Will move to NON-Liberty space to see, if I encounter the same there.BTW: Before the restart after which I found the above, I run a defrag-program (Jetdefrag).
Maybe the cause ? -

Alright, fixed it the "oldfashioned", obedient, time-consuming way......
Deinstall--Reinstall
Now everything is fine again
To me the question remains, how this could happen, and I would still appreciated an explanation-------if possible.

Hm very suspicious, How shall we explain stuff that is going on on your PC... I assume that it could be antivir related, so either your antivir moved some files to quarantene. Or you've got a virus on your pc that changes files (what most viruses are doing)... Something like this eventually.

The best way to find out what caused it is to replicate the problem.
So if you really wanna know, do what you did last time step by step each time checking is CF running correctly.
p.s. I wound suggest using drivers from your card's manufacturer site.
