I almost killed my store several days ago. Would have been quite funny seeing me biting into my keyboard, when I would have realized that I just destroyed my own collection of guns.
So the best way would be stay away from other players (and NPC's ofc) when you wanna be save.There is no noob-protection anymore in NY. Which could also tempt people to go ahead for PVP within NY (which is still against the server rules)

.. just go ahead and force another player within NY to attack you and you will see you can get destroyed easily
