OP, what kind of anticheat protection are we talking about exactly? Anti speed-mod copy folder of Crossfire? Anti modified-equipment/weapons-ini-files?

Ididn't meant about the CF 1.8 install as autoupdate... meant if within the fresh install there will be an autoupdater. As you told, 1.8 will have more pathes (6 ? ) other bug fixes that people discover in MP and similar, so, those upgrades of CF 1.8 will be automatic like the ones now ? I suppose so...

. Add the "should be..." before "Released 1 Jan" . Hopefully that won't be needed anymore, if you know what I mean ^^. -
