  • So i was thinking
Crossfire tells little of the starlancer story but there are no wrecks in sol
no ship graveyard, no trace of the sol war at all (well just a small destroyed station near saturn)
wold it be great if in 1.8 the sol system is full with trace of the sol war

    what do u think ^^

i apology for my bad english

    space

    the final frontier

  • hmmm sounds cool to me I always liked the story of starlancer to and it would be cool to bring a future image of the fight back into sol ... hope other players like it to :)

beware a new kind of player is coming online

  • Well, if you payed attention to some of the intro movies, the massive planet-killing energy blast from the Nomad Strike Carrier was enough to vaporize any trace of humanity from the Sol system. This why the only infrastructure in Sol was built by the Coalition (and more recently, by the Order). The Coalition had to expand beyond Sol because of the depletion of resources by the century-long conflict, and these colonists were the only survivors of the Coalition once the Nomads had done their job in Sol.

The warp gates and buoys were built by the surviving Coalition faction in Altair, who had their own challenges building a new society in the face of constant skirmishes with Nomads & Dom K'vash. Only after Murmansk had been mined out, was the Coalition strong enough to return to Sol, and discover what had become of their comrades, and set about the task of building a transport "bridge" to the new systems of the old Alliance factions in Sirius. It was a fateful coincidence that the Nomad War broke out just at that time, and the Coalition found it expedient to establish a new treaty with the Houses, to battle their new common foe, and this is where we stand today.

However, troubling reports have been filtering into Sirius from the far reaches of Altair, that something has definitely changed deep in Dom K'vash space, and all humanity once again is faced with the need to unite or face extermination.... 8o

Move the admin base from Styx to the monument, because "the Styx admin base was destroyed in a well planed nomad attack" 8)

if what CA is "true," and if we stuck to the idea, the Nomads blew up Sol, then wouldn't Earth be a desolate wasteland?

Assumption is the mother of all fuckups.

Being a Cynic isn't that bad. Either I'm right or I am pleasantly surprised.
