When Gunny, Fixer and BG Boyscout effectively KOS me for more than a month when I first joined LP in Rheinland as I was trading - do you know the amount of times I switched to a fighter?

It's a game.

I found it very helpful exercise in mapping Rhein and the Omegas. All of us had a lot of fun and that is when I learned about Strategic Suiciding and F1 ing - and I learned it from them.

I learned to both admire and like them. Often I would launch my train out of dock knowing at least one of them were outside.

I would ask Gunny how many seconds he would count before firing on me and he would say "The Usual" - and I asked if that was 100 seconds?

That was fun and relaxing, I got to know those guys well. What do you think would have happened if I declared it an act of WAR - or just switched to a fighter?

Where is the pvp v roleplay balance?

I therefore did NOT fight any more BGs until LP leaders came online to advise on this matter - by the way none us knew about OPs statement the day earlier - it would have helped the situation if someone in BG had posted it on server rules - so we knew.

I am not complaining about your bounties, as I said I don't count them any more - and if you are saying most of the bounties placed on me (since it was introduced) are for F1 ing - you are surely mistaken.

It is typical of BGs is that they have a no tax paying policy, but now apparently need a warning from LPs - and you still wont pay tax. And then 4 BGs chase and switch after me all over the universe.

BGs, be generous with your roleplay, pay tax every now and again - if ur reaction to a tax is a KOS, well this stuff aint never gonna go away.

Yesterday your choices were

1. To pay tax
2. To try and keep trading and outwit me
3. Switch to a fighter and ask your mates to hunt a pirate.
4. Say it was an act of WAR

Anyway Slayer - you know I totally respect and like you, especially after that incident in Vega - where I think your decent response was UNPRECENTED on this server - you were very generous - so thanks and gf to you.

I dont really want to get into an argument with you or anyone about it but i and many others did witness 2 times when OP came on and said any attacks without reason on any BG member will be treated as an act of war, this wasnt a private matter as there was IOC and DD and LP and TRF and CFPD and MN all in the system at this time, and Op did announce this in system chat.

The fact that your own members failed to inform you is not mine or BG's fault the warnings were given and not listened to.

Well that is my point, BG don't ever pay taxes, so is there any point asking for it?

This is why our roleplay is just about - killing each other.

BG LP roleplay is pvp - not pirates, smugglers, police, etc

However, choices 2-4 were still available to you.

Maybe I would have said "tax pls" next time, but we could not explore that cos you switched to a fighter and declared WAR.

However LP have agreed to say "tax pls" in all our encounters for now on - which still wont help us cos you wont pay and it will be pvp or dead trains.

That is off course BGs choice, sometimes we would like to earn tax cos thats our roleplay.

Let me see - the main deposit for important info is SWAT forum - not the server.

But its typical of the way info is disseminated here and I suggest communications is something we could all improve upon.

You can be sure if BG posted this on SWAT I would have respected your decision and it aint no good blaming my fellow LPs for not telling me - I blame BG for poor communication.

Funny also when I posted (yes post - not declared on system chat) my reluctance to engage in rp with BG, that was not RESPECTED by your clan, and I was killed many times, sometimes without warning (BG Bomber - thanks)

BG Gal killed me about 10 times for waiting outside Alaska (warning was given though)

well m8 like i have said to you it wasnt you that single handidly started this off you were one of many and i myself and BG had enough of it, attacking anymember unless KOS without prior warning is an act of war and so is clan system invasions..........and we all know that BG has put up with a lot of that so its not like you think BG just snapped ans lost it......its more of a BG is sick and tired of laying down and allways excepting it.

I remeber the day BG invaded D and we took a load of crap for that but LP invaded and that was ok and this is not just LP every clan on this server has invaded Custodian othere than those who are allowed anyway.

I have been here for now well over a year and i have many times been fed up with our clan allways having to lead by example by not retaliating on clans that invade and also who have killed us with no warning hell ask Amos he is a prime example, but back then RP was fun we allways repaid the favour back to Amos we never bitched about it on forum we just paid him back and had good fun.

But since then RP has not been the same personal issues came into places that personal issues have no place.

BG decided that we would take no more of this and we would act, no one can really complain that BG are now acting on any adverse action done by any clan, I know othere clans would have zero tolerance for some of what has happened to BG.

Like i said to you already i dont want to get into a war of words with you and we are kinda drifing away form the actual subject of this post.

KOS or WAR is not heard online or the forum
The people who take this too far, well just remember how it was like at the beginning and if you want to feel that again.

And I think people across all the clans have taken this too far.

1. Get Lance up to high level pvp skills
2. Get Gunny back to telling his jokes online - cos believe it or not he has a sense of humour.

My point of view:

Cops kills pirates and criminals.
Pirates kill cops and innocent bystanders
military kills pirates or whoever is breaking the federal law.
Mercs try to do all of the above, but lean towards the criminal side of operations.

Its quite simple and I dont expect anyone to warn me for anything....just be ready for me to come and find you when you do attack me.

Just as Gunny said just b causios if u see any1 against ur rp. If u a cop watch out for pirates if u a pirate vice versa. This is rp after all.
