VHF investigation

It seems people are getting very good at maximizing their PC performance. The computer wizards do have an advantage. Overclocking, manipulating video settings, ect... But all of that is allowed within the rules and couldnt be prevented anyway.

To be a top rank it seems great pilot skills and computer skills are required. lol.

Please dont take my comments as sour grapes. Its not meant that way at all.

Old geezers like me will have to consult with the clan PC wizards to try to catch up.

Well maybe if you name the ships someone can comment. And the shroud is far away from "one of the most agile ships in CF". Maybe it was, I personaly tried it for the first time about 3 weeks ago and found it sluggish.

Shroud was never an über-ship ... ppl just used that ship cuz everyone else is using that things aswell ...

am i wrong or did OP announce somewhere that ALL ships have the same ability to be used and that a good pilot can win in every ship ?? you just need to find the way how to use some ships... shroud is the perfect overspamm ship (no joking) ... for example Phoenix is also good for fights and one of the best for making missions (much hull) ... butit seems like ppl finally realised that they can be beated in the shroud, and that it was never the problem in the ship, but in the pilots themselves ... of course there are few bugged ships, so ppl shouldnt use them ... and every ship has a weak point and strong point .. you just need to find those ...

and yeah, im also appy to see other ppl using something else but that shroud .. its pretty boring to see that all players use same ship ... and we have over 100 !!!

I have Kwizat dream too, i would love ppl using different ships, now is not so bad but away from the top 5 ships that everybody use (I have one of each), it would be cool to have more. Now OP anounced that coalition ships will be flyable in 1.8 so lets give a chance and wait to see if they worth it, at least devil and saracen are great ships in my opinion.

I wish it was true, but we still have 3 major groups which is still better than dude pimp my shroud of course .

Inferno I don't think every pilot can fight in every ship, no matter how good he is (the pilot). Some ships suits my fighting style, some don't and I need too much time to get used to them.

Once upon a time I was doing fine in predator. When I came back I was still doing fine in it, an I was losing in saracen. When I finally got used to the saracen I found that I lost my ability to fight in predator .

BTW the only person that really uses the shroud very well these days is GalacticFire. But I guess he will be doing just fine in sabre too .

Hmm I wonder if there is a chance for an eagle fashion to rise. Dopp made a good lecture on this matter few days ago (it still hurts... my ego I mean). I imagine Arena and 10 eagles in it .

*offtopic* When I mentioned "pimp my shroud" I remembered that I wish there was a red/black textured saracen like the eagle . Please Santa I want one under the christmas tree

the reason why most ppl used shroud was coz i used it in the beginning

I spotted that the Shroud is less manuevable or whatever is called, since the CF 1.7 came on( or the update, i`ll lie u here). I was even going to ask OP, if he change something. And yea the PC Performance got word 2. I can't say my PC configuration rulz, it even sux, a my last battles in CF i said to all that my comp lagz, when i get in big battles.
