Lost Fleet is going to continue the Crossfire bonus missions and will open a new world for the players to explore. Main focus will be the Sol sector and its past secrets. With this new update we will introduce new systems (additional to Epsilon Eridani and Tau Ceti), new natural solar objects, new stations, new ships, new equipment and even (a) new faction(s) aswell as new story content related to it.

What can you expect from the Lost Fleet update? Aside from the many improvements on Crossfire 2.0 new story content is available which tells the tale of a long forgotten faction that fell victim to the Coalition war. You will be able to discover a new, very unique region of space full of new secrets, new friends and old enemies.

The in 2019 released "Lost Fleet" update opened opportunities to release more story related content for Freelancer Crossfire without interfering with the main story of Crossfire. The new focus was set primarily on the Sol Sector and we have started to introduce new bonus missions based on this specific region of space. The result was the re-introduction of an old/lost faction and the discovery of many new systems, all of them with a very unique style.
Lost Fleet ended with a cliffhanger, with the player being stranded on a space station in the middle of nowhere.
Blackstar starts right there.
New story content will explain left open questions and introduce a new threat, not only to humanity.
Multiple new singleplayer story missions will lead Trent into new adventures.
More detail work will be added to the previously introduced "Lost Fleet" content, while players finally can get their hands on
