Once upon a time, and not so long ago, as an LP - a BG did let me pass through Custodian and I nearly fell off my chair in surprise!!!

In all these things, I always would expect pilots to request access to other people's property - even if they already have permission - that's just being polite and respectful.

Custodian off course is none of my business - but thinking about the reasons about some of the recent 'issues' we have had - closing the Cust -> NY gate could be a part solution, but may affect Singe Player - I don't know.

I know for fact LP leaders have very firmly and often told new LPs that they cannot go into other people's systems - Inferno, Canoso and Privy have been very firm about that.

The fact that some LP behaviour has nearly kicked of server wars - is a bit strange - as those sort of things should be sorted by SPs or by leaders.

But often you hear of nothing until someone posts here that "another LP has broken the rules" etc

Well my ideas for universal peace in Crossfire between Server Clans

1. Make the company building Shrouds into a publically owned one - just based in Tarsus.

Each server clan should pay a small amount (10 mill per month) to T Government for agreeing to allow said company to hold its base in T for rent free

That would get rid of 50% of "THE NEARLY CAUSED A SERVER WAR" excuses we have seen

2. Close Cust->NY jumpgate

Or make it genuine independent (ie military keeping rp balance) and ensure no one can go in - including those from other server clans

Or allow other members of server clans to go through thus getting rid of the remaining 50% of "THE NEARLY CAUSED A SERVER WAR" excuses we have seen.

That would all allow us to be busy doing our roleplay (main thing) and stop all this pettty stuff about he went into my house and stole my sofa analogies we keep hearing

It would stop us fighting each other because someone went into someones system etc and let us play our role.

I see CFPD has very generously opened its borders to at least trade and exploration which is one of the most best steps I have seen here.

3. Lets KOS Ryzune for his negativity - it's not the first time OP has asked us lot to feed and clean ourselves.

For the record I will post here in response to comments about me "deserving" stuff, as I am apparently - a well known trouble maker.

In my previous life here, people that know/knew me can comment on whether I entered clan systems without permission

Tarsus - Only went in there once (in nine months) without permission straight after CFPD Ice entered D without permiss and a few days CFPD Wood went in and killed an LP Store

Custodian - Only went in there in my period of madness, (about 5 chars in 2 days) details elsewhere on this forum.

Alaska - never went in there without permission EXCEPT ONCE to escort IOC Angmar building new char - I told him to dock in Alaska - I did not and have not ever docked in there as LP

EDIT - I remember one incident - an newbie LP had gone into Alaska without permission and I told him to get out. He said he had tried - but a BG had killed him.

I then went into Alaska and reminded the BG that there was no roleplay in clan systems and he should let us leave and kill us in X. The BG refused.. so I killed him and we left.

Cassius - never been in there without permission. Once I delivered 20 gats and 20 ppcs for Angmar that was helping a BG rebuild his char - Other times invited to talk

Neophobos - Only went in there once without permiss as I had pre ordered some Preds from Dop and paid in advance. Even though I told Lance about this before I went in - I asssumed his silence was an ok -

Tohuku - Even though I have access to pass through - I have never docked on Tohuku stations

So

Combined with my well known sentiments about saying gf after pvp I am at a loss why I am so marked a person in this environment.

Let me see - the main deposit for important info is SWAT forum - not the server.

This is why our roleplay is just about - killing each other.

BG LP roleplay is pvp - not pirates, smugglers, police, etc

However, choices 2-4 were still available to you.

Maybe I would have said "tax pls" next time, but we could not explore that cos you switched to a fighter and declared WAR.

However LP have agreed to say "tax pls" in all our encounters for now on - which still wont help us cos you wont pay and it will be pvp or dead trains.

That is off course BGs choice, sometimes we would like to earn tax cos thats our roleplay.

When Gunny, Fixer and BG Boyscout effectively KOS me for more than a month when I first joined LP in Rheinland as I was trading - do you know the amount of times I switched to a fighter?

It's a game.

I found it very helpful exercise in mapping Rhein and the Omegas. All of us had a lot of fun and that is when I learned about Strategic Suiciding and F1 ing - and I learned it from them.

I learned to both admire and like them. Often I would launch my train out of dock knowing at least one of them were outside.

I would ask Gunny how many seconds he would count before firing on me and he would say "The Usual" - and I asked if that was 100 seconds?

That was fun and relaxing, I got to know those guys well. What do you think would have happened if I declared it an act of WAR - or just switched to a fighter?

I therefore did NOT fight any more BGs until LP leaders came online to advise on this matter - by the way none us knew about OPs statement the day earlier - it would have helped the situation if someone in BG had posted it on server rules - so we knew.

I am not complaining about your bounties, as I said I don't count them any more - and if you are saying most of the bounties placed on me (since it was introduced) are for F1 ing - you are surely mistaken.

It is typical of BGs is that they have a no tax paying policy, but now apparently need a warning from LPs - and you still wont pay tax. And then 4 BGs chase and switch after me all over the universe.

I remember coming back from a 2 week holiday to Crossfire.

Within a few days MN had placed numerous bounties on my store, both my trains, all my fighters - and everywhere I went I had IOC and BG and everyone else after me.

As soon as I had logged in, even before I had undocked, bang, bang, 1,2,3 console bounties placed on me. I switched to another char, say my store, bang bang, another few bounties on me.

I could not trade, could not go anywhere without being chased.

I even complained here about it - but as usual got zero back from my tormentors, no one said, hang on, 50 bounties in a few days was excessive.

Yesterday after killing Slayer's train and doing a runner (cos I felt BG would go nuts after Slayer mentioned WAR), Gal and Slayer probably put around 5 bounties on my various chars maybe more, I don't bother counting them anymore.

Guys - you feel harrased? people hunting you? Too many bounties in a short time? Is it unfair?

This console command was being abused right from the begin - everyone did it - we have shown as a community - that OP and Haeger waste their time when they do stuff for us.

This stuff about anonymous bounties - I would really like to know where that came from.

The console command needs to come off - or the power given to SPs - as we can't be trusted with it for sure.

This thing re Gal went too far for sure, I can't kill him myself, but yes many times I want him dead, same for DS.

This has escalated out of control because KOS to simple roleplay choices is the wrong response.

KOS I suppose should be done to people breaking server rules, clan rules etc - not for roleplay choices. Many of us could sense an increasing hostility between legal authorities and mercs, when infact that should have been between pirates and cops.

I also think the ASF/CSF needs to be brought back, based on a lawful/unlawful divide which may vent some of this bad feelings in a positive way - and it would also honour CA and Gunny for all their work they put here to help community - and in my opinion that roleplay was very well done by them.

But the ASF/CSF leaders should ensure that any battles are between even numbers and ask some people to stand down if the diff between groups is too large.

Anyway I think talking is better than silence and I hope behind the scenes (and in public) fences are being mended.

I will say gf to all brave pilots and see you in space - especially UAC Renegade Thuban (who is on my KOS list)

In April of this year I set a self imposed embargo on BG because of the way I was treated.

This was only after stuff going on even before that.

Those problems I had - not many cared about - but to their credit some did - some even in BG so thanks.

I am not an unfair player - or some bad person, I believe I am quite friendly and helpful person - I just don't like unfairness, bullying etc - even if its in my own clan - I will say it.

The Mercs on the server were effectively declared KOS status by BG and CFPD for consorting with pirates or whatever.

And they got the KOS treatment from those legal authorities a few of us have experienced before.

IOC got declared illegal or whatever for smuggling and doing hits on cops/ BG or whatever

Nearly everyone on the server trades BMG, I cant even call it a valid roleplay - who does not trade or smuggle?

Sure I dont know what I am talking about - the communication in this place is poor - who really knows the whole story?

I suggest we set all clan status to Nuetral and start again and remem we were a community and stop this KOS stuff

This place has changed in many subtle ways - many in a bad way.

There is a lot of mistrust and other stuff going on.

We all used to be good friends - now many things are secret.

I suggest we all do what our parents taught us and treat others how we would like to be treated.

The first thing I suggest is to stop this KOS business and say "tax pls2 or "fine pls" before engaging anyone.

Giving everyone the opp to either pay or fight.

The continuous fighting is getting tiresome.

Pirates still tax DD and DD still hitman pirates.

But they are allies.

I therefore dont see why IOC could not have similar relationship with UAC/CFPD/MN

Cops can still stop IOC smuggling (hats off to those cops that do it so excellent) and IOC can Merc cops,

and still have good relationship between them.

After all this time we wanted strong merc clans here and like number 73 bus, two appears at the same time and are declared hostile and KOS by 'Legal Authorities' -

Don't make no sense

We hardly ever get an explanation when people resign or leave their clans - just a post if we are lucky (or unlucky)

We all know relationships develop and change - not many things are written in stone.

Even if what you say is true and is a reason to KOS them, both the cops and military have had a far longer relationship with their true enemies - dastardly pirates. Where a KOS relationship exists from long ago and is well known.

And in all my time here, I have never seen a massive attack outside Deadulus as we saw outside Casius last night.

I am suggesting an ASF/CSF realignment where legal authorities (cops and military) take on "unlawful clans" where hopefully some of this uneasiness can be dissolved in roleplay and the like.

Anyway - some fences need mending for sure.
