I can remember quite clearly SL clan never did this - they just did the job and dealt with any consequences afterwards.

Most of the time there was not any consequences as people recognised their rp

And they definately were not KOS status for any server clan because of their work.

And bounties do not only have to be places on the bounty board.

Anway a consensus and discussion about revising merc roleplay may be best here - if that was even the problem here - but I dont know that at all.

Hello fellow Crossfire Community peeps

Whether you celebrate Xmas or not, I hope you get a little break over the coming week or so to sepnd time with your family and friends.

For the first time I have a Xmas tree and decorations as these were donated as a gift from a close fried as I was moving house.

I have nearly completed the move and now have my own table, a large flat screen monitor and an upgraded broabband connection.

It took 5 weeks to fit new carpet and three weeks to get the heating turned on properly. We still dont have curtains

Intersting year in Crossfire, my highlights were being hunted as a newbie, getting help from the Compassionate Freelancer and joining IOC. Lots of interesting experiences online - a good one was getting Dopple 2 seconds from the winning line in a smuggler event in New Berlin.

We need to be careful here as any negative comments about the Predator will affect Dopple's second hand Predator selling business and that aint any good.

To vitas - ur point about doing well in events at the beginning proves the pilot is just as an important as the ship - perhaps even more important.

I say dont go with the crowd - stand out and do your own thing - and learn and practise your pvp skills when you get the chance. I also think learning to be competent with different ships is also a good skill to require.

In terms of survival - the first thing is

DONT GO INTO ANY CLAN SYSTEM WITHOUT PERMISSION

DONT KILL ANY PLAYERS BELOW LEVEL 40

Other than that, relax and enjoy the game, do some exploring and meet some really nice people online.

Ask for help when you need it but dont be discouraged if you dont receive help straight away - server clans like BG, IOC, LP, CFPD, UAC etc are usually willing to help and advise..

Think about which rolplay you like, Trader, Smuggler, Police, pirates, mercs etc and give it a go - server clans usually specialise in a particular RP

Beware of pirates, they usually have an 'X' in their name, like you, they are clans LP, Fallen

Find your way to Sol
Find a good way to make cash (hint sell npc pods to jails after u kill them)
Find good trade routes (they change on daily basis though)
Particiapte in our events

Furthermore, I suspect one of the reasons you may not have been given an option is that you freely admit breaking the rules re entering clan systems and no one would blame BG and its allies for shooting u on sight.

Mate, hate leads to the Darkside and I cant stay angry at anyone for more than an hour - I have timed it.

But I am glad u come onto our server, broke some of the rules and challenged our server police (not glad about this though) - its good to shake even them up a bit sometimes.

No one is saying Gunny is unstoppable, people can beat him. He is an excellent fighter, one of the best here, but he is an even better server police and protects this server from undesirables. Are u one of those?

Its best to go to Arena and sort it out once your character is unbanned and take screenies when u beat Gunny,

Also why delete all your characters when u beat him - why not stay around and contribute? The sort of things u r saying in your last post makes me think Gunny is right about many things he said about u.

It looks like you knew about some of our rules and went thru custodian (and into Tarsus - I think) without permission.

You certainly started something - which was ur intention.

Most server clans are able to defend their own space from intruders and many have alliances with other server clans to help them do so if required. For example, IOC have a strong relationship with CFPD and will support them in chasing and hunting you down if requested.

You have just experienced something that quite a few of us have - (being chased around and hunted) - due to going into a clan system without permission.

As you say you do not cheat - I suppose a ban might have been too much - but the people will check that now and I have no doubt they will let us know if you are in the clear re the speed mod - cos they 100% honest in my experience.

I say welcome to Crossfire, we will enjoy the KOS that should be on you at the moment - and I look forward to seeing what you do next - once the KOS is over.

You say u like piracy and maybe u should consider joining some of the pirate clans on the server once u settle in a bit.

When I signed up here - people told me about this 'community' and I begin to understand that.

Like with any threat, the people in the community well group together for protection and sometimes that reaction can be brutal.

We have seen it before, eager new clans, join us and try to add to the RP, before understanding our rules, before understanding we will stick together, and set off a chain reaction that sours their view of us.

Harsh things were said as we know will happen between the hunter and the hunted.

As far as I know CFPD are still at war with 666 so its upto them what they want to do now:
is the war over?
will CFPD accept less reperation?
Shall we start again?
