why is it so bad having cloaking device?

Oh yeah, having the ability to fire THEN it de-cloaks you....in other words your target will be a sitting duck and won't have a chance.

You want to see how fast a major conflict can arise if one clan is doing that to another?

I don't think that should be an option at all.

Edit: In conjunction with what I said above and the obvious arrogance of one member of a once friendly clan, the fact that I probably have a fake char in my clan, the insane amounts of contracts being placed on CFPD and no other clan.....well it's time for a meeting of the CFPD hierarchy to discuss ending my time as CFPD and moving on and becoming a freelancer.

Gunny - if you leave CFPD and become a freelancer, you will be safe from me as I dont tax freelancers (99% of the time).

As I mentioned before, there is currently a moratorium on IOC pilots accepting contracts on police, but we are actively seeking work vs. others...

By this i will incriminate myself badly but i wouldnt want so see you as a freelancer cause you are the essential part of CFPD (and you are the archmenace of many pilots which is good).

There werent many contracts on CFPD except for hit on you by IOC and my hits on Woodooway (and that is only 2 hits on 2 pilots of the 6 active CFPD officers), so i think the statemant is a little blown out of proportions.

And by hits i mean real hits by mercs and profesional contracts not cop-pirate antagonism and fighting.

And i must say i did in the last two weeks hits on 4other clans, so the CFPD is not the only target.

All of it is RP.....but the Serial Killer part sounds good. I honestly don't care about the contracts on police, I just want to see the mercs getting work elsewhere as well.

However be prepared for the consequences when such a contract is carried out.

Hmm Merc roleplay

Very difficult

Sort of relying on the community to provide you work in game - and I am sure many clans could take the jobs or do the work themselves.

When you dont get jobs from other people - what will be your roleplay? What can you fall back upon?

I suggest some sort of bounty hunters/ merc guild that is able to sift through the forums and ingame stuff/communications and keep yourself active with posts declaring interests in doing jobs or even making some stuff up yourself.
