I had downloaded a patch sometime before. How would I know if I need this patch or not ?

My version of the Launcher is 1.54. I think I have the latest patch installed

Please someone correct me if I am wrong

If you don't install this 1.7a patch, then you can't get to launcher version 1.54
So you don't need this patch anymore super.
The 1.7a patch should also show up in the installed programmes list if you're not sure whether or not you have previously installed the patch.

i can confirm the latest version of the launcher to be 1.54

if u installed the mod and the launcher has problems with updating -> u need the patch...

Well, actually you always need the patch. Best example I can give are the graphics of the DKA's. They got updated after this patch was released. This means you can't get the updated graphics if you don't use this patch, because unfortunately, the original launcher doesn't update to 1.54.

are you sure it's 1.54 ?? i just downloaded it again and it's 1.53

ok read it from my lips:

the update does not change anything on FL or the mod
it does only fix a problem with the launcher... not more not less
no graphical changes were done by me

yes, the V1.54 is the last i released

if u have shown V1.53 -> u get the actual version by using the launcher to update itself

I know this proberly isnt the right place to post this but i couldn't find the relevent topic.

I've been trying to find Utopia system now for a while and through good and reliable sources i have been pointed in the right direction and have even been taken to the point in space where it should be while in formattion with another. He jumped out and i didn't due to the fact that i could see the JH or what ever it is that leads to Utopia. I downloaded the lastest patch and installed it. Once i loaded up the launcher though the MP option did not light up even after '20' yeah thats right 20 minutes of waiting. Eventually in my annoyance i restored my PC back by 24hrs and and the FL-Launcher worked again running on the older version.

Any ideas guys???

does ur firewall know about the new launcher? at least i need to edit my firewall rules every time i change an "exe"...

Its not a firewall issue. I have granted permission yet it still dont want to let me on.

if i get u right, then u use an older launcher and it works, but if u use the v1.54 u fail to get any updates. do u have a screen showing that only SP is available or do u wait endless for an answer?
