Boomer and Rover: The Assholes of CF.

ban them for what?

being crap fighters?
being idiots?
being cowards?
not wearing licences? (did they even ask you for tax?, if not then they dont need a licence -> freelancers are also alowed to attack others if they want)

if they make friends this way they will have a hard life on CF anyways... so why bother?

my experiance of this father and son team is they have been having a laugh

or perhaps the laugh as been on me but at this point i dont think so

up to now thet have been OK i have helped them a little
they have been polite in return
as they are new players and as far as i am aware havent broke the rules tooooo bad (although i will not say they havent played with the boundrys of the rules a little) as i have had cause to lay down the rules in custodian so they did not have the possibility of misunderstanding the consequences.

all that said its my belife that with a little help, guidance and advice these 2 could possibly be a welcome addition to our community, i think they will certainly be
a couple of entertaining charicters and i think it is up to us and how we welcome them that will determine how they will be entertaining.

i met rover and he is a nice guy, why r u putting him down? not every1 can act the same u know.

rover sems like a reasonably nice guy, boomer is his young "hot headed" son. i threatened him with a ban earlier for killing a lvl 33 player for no reason. he appologised eventually and i made him pay back the 100k credits.having a laugh and making another guys time here a misery is unacceptable to me. we all come here to have fun. safe to say boomer knows ill kick him all over the server before i ban him, just so he knows what it feels like, if he doesnt start to adhere to server rules. keping an open mid is a fair comment, but considereing how much time i spend here i probably know alot more than most of thier/his antics.

this offence was of the same nature as one 2 hrs ealier ,with IOC involved. opening fire with no reason, acting as pirates with no indication of thier chosen rp.

evryone is responsible for thier own actions.

be carefull guys, welcome to CF, but abide by the server rules like we all do

Being only cannon fodder on here at the moment...and only having been online for a couple of weeks (this also applys to Boomer).....In PvP....I will always come to his help if hes fired on first...
If he breaks the rules i have no problem with any punishment...dished out to him..
As for a whole clan (KOS)....thats just bullying and he will never have chance to learn anything ...
From what he told me ...he was fired on first in Helios at the start of all this...
So guys hes only following what others do ...
Some say im to blame for not teaching him.....
I say everyones to blame for showing him bad habits ...
Anyway ..as i said ...If hes fired on first without warning i will help him out as just another target ....

Rover we have a small problem in the last week or two with ppl killing noobs and putting them of the game. we want the new players to stay and join or make new serverclans so if this happens again then pls contact any of the serverclans like CFPD, DC (police clans) or BG IOC or UAC (non pirate clans) and they should help resolve the problem.

but remember killing any noob will be punished just as much as we will help.

Granted you will help him out when needed, and if its a matter off defending him from attacks then that is fine in my eyes. But please report any offending player who attacks you with no warning, if he doesnt have an appropriate licence mounted, etc......

Police will kill you if you are smuggling contraband, Mercs will kill you if there is a contract out on you, pirates will tax you (once you have reached a certain level), and there are guidelines for everyone to follow.
at your level ppl should be helping you settle in and adjust, well boomer more than rover!

i killed boomer yesterday because he killed a lvl 33 player with no warning, got his attention didnt it. and that was the idea, not to be malicious, but to show him what he has inflicted on another player. learn from your mistakes.

I wont deny that everyone here has the odd, tiny bad habit. but we all abide by the server rules, and so must you guys.
if you see an infringement of those rules the plz take a screenshot and notify SP.if you guys have been here a couple of weeks than you should know who the SP are.

As for "copying" others actions my opinion is you arent lemmings, your own actions are predetermined by you and no one else. dont follow suit of the odd bad egg, look to seververclans for advise if neccassary. Your role in this, Rover, should be to guide boomer as you are a lot older and mature than boomer. otherwise he might get into trouble with other clans and SP.

Will do my best to guide him ...if he can make it through the KOS which is out on him...

As the Commanding Officer of CFPD, if anyone is sneaking up on you and killing you or anyone for that matter. It is a Police Matter, one of which DC or CFPD can handle.

Let us know who , when and where.

Boomer and Rover

It is a shame u had this difficult settling in period - but hopefully that's over now.

A lot of new players have come online and that arent aware of the rules - some written - some agreed upon in the server that are designed to help new players settle in.

I hope u get to like a rp here and fit ur licenses and give it your best shot - I hope u get to enjoy it whatever - merc, pirate, etc

Just like to say thanks for all the comments guys ...its all been a real help ..
Ive settled in now and im sure boomer will now he had his funny 5 minutes..
Have to look for a RP now and learn to PvP..
