    This thread is for posting the KNOWN BUGS in 1.62, so they can be fixed for 1.63.


    Please no spam or conversations here, just post the bug, with the following information:


    1. BUG
    2. SYSTEM
    3. STATION, PLANET or SHIP where the bug is.
    4. SECTOR/LOCATION where the STATION, PLANET or SHIP is in.


    Exact information is needed. If you need to verify the bug you found, take another player with you to assist.

  • There's nothing critical I can think of, but there's always the classics and a few minor things I noticed:


    1. BS mass problem


    2. Catapult missile / jump thing (whenever you jump into a system there's a Catapult Missile or two streaking by even when there are no NPCs present)


    3. Disappearing gates in Sol


    4. Disappearing DK/nomad capships (when you move more than 500m away from their outer hull they go away and you can't see them again until you come back a bit closer)


    5. The cockpit veiw doesn't work for me in Sol and DK space (Shroud, Bullpup Mk III, and Saber).


    6. Kossac and Lagg hull invulnerability


    7. Rep quirks involving bases in X-3043, Outcasts, CSF, and ASF


    8. Armored transport can still mount BS turrets


    9. Crash when a group in formation attempts to jump at the Dimensional Rift in Sol


    10. Crash if you take a group mission with members of the group in different systems in which the best path cannot be calculated between one or more of the players and the mission waypoint.


    11. Crash whenever I use any of the jumps into Hamburg System while flying the Bullpup Mk III since last Saturday (tested each of the jump holes and gates and each caused a crash). I'm not sure, but I think this is related to the server's being down recently because since and before this incident no such problem has arisen.


    12. I heard that there are supposed to be coalition missions against the nomads and I'm yet to find one ^^


    13. Logging on after a crash to a char in Altair I was attacked by a number of NPCs that was very extraordinary and certainly abnormal. Perhaps it was just a one-time glitch though and nothing underlying. The system involved was Mandar and I spawned at the jg to Styx.

  • Odd collision areas for Coalition stations, colliding with nothing (Boridin and HQ especially).

    anyway when some battlehsips and ohers come near to the planet and goto crash into it, they just go straight threw the planet...

    This appears to be the case with all ships...not just these ones, and it's the case in Altair as well.



    - Cruise drives don't appear to ignite to their full length (they look they're in engine kill) - this problem is a Sol one.

  • -CD Slots dont work on the majority of ships. This is for the ships that have 3 mountable CD slots (i.e. Cd/Torp), but only 2 of them work. Take Shroud for example. The 2 that do work are Chimera and Malice.

  • Adonis freighter (available @ Ghat Prison) - cannot mount mines/CM's, even though standard CM's can be purchased, the launcher appears to be integral, not upgradable, and I seem to recall it was inoperative.


    Armored Transport (sold in Regalis) - cannot mount thrusters.

  • 1. After landing at The Ring in NB in a Bullpup Mk III both the commodity and equipment dealers could not fuction. F1 remedied the problem but perhaps needs looking into.


    2. The Kamov is labeled to have 6 guns but in reality has 4 CD/torp slots and 2 gun/missile slots.

  • Reaper is one of these ships. CD/torp will only mount in one configuration.

    What he means is that the ships with 3 torp/CD slots... there are 2 torp/CD slots and 1 CD-only slot but you can only mount a CD launcher in the first CD/Torp slot and not the second. What the specs really are is one CD/torp slot, one torp-only slot, and 1 CD-only slot. I think it's true with every ship with this weapon configuration.

  • Wel mates i thing there is a problem here with the audio, some planets and stations dont use the entyre words, they cut the phrase, for example...

  • Those aren't really bugs, they're just something that noone can do nothing about. Those are planet with custom names, so the only planets and stations that haves the npc's speaking their names are the vanilla ones.

  • At seemingly random intervals of gameplay (more often when there is visable lag than not), the engine-cut feature does not work on the Bullpup Mk III. I do not know if this applies to any other ships, as most people don't use the feature often enough to catch such a flaw. Usually F1 works, but not always. :D

  • "apparently" there is a bug with coalition gatts that cause lag, although i have never noticed!(missile spammer)!!


    BTW i know this is the wrong thread but how about adding some higher refire, lower power, long range uber guns, instead of the current choice of just ppc's and gatts? would be kool.

  • Another prob: Server crashes when there are 7+ ppl in the New London system.

    Assumption is the mother of all fuckups.


    Being a Cynic isn't that bad. Either I'm right or I am pleasantly surprised.

  • i think there is a problem with the power generator ugrades, with the train if you put one on it redusces power and you cant unmount it and them take off
    in the vhf it does increase power but the same happens
    with unmounting it sometimes i have had 1 shround i can unmount and 1 i cant
