  • This is the first time I'm using the Crossfire mod for Freelancer and I wasn't sure where to post this reply, so apologize. I need help installing Crossfire so that I don't screw it up, step by step instructions would be very helpful. Thank you.

The installation process is described in the FAQ in the Wiki: Frequently Asked Questions - SWAT Portal

The rumble of the engines and the trundle of the wheels,
Through hell and horror trudge and yet their spirits never yield.
Will they sing of these forsaken pawns of war?"

    that in war,

the Way is to avoid what is strong,

and to strike what is weak.

If your opponent is of choleric temper, irritate him.

Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant.

  • AFAIK, there's no way to transition to the Crossfire story from a finished vanilla save game, because if it was finished in Vanilla FL, then the story mode is over and you are essentially in Open SP.

Assuming I understand how this work correctly, you need to load a save from Vanilla Mission 12 and replay Mission 13, as CF campaign is essentially inserted into Mission 13.

Basically, what Wanderer said in his reply to your thread: Freelancer save to crossfire campaign
