hi how would i go about making a new clan and how would i put it into action as i want to make a clan that's not so demanding to join i will have a couple of rules which is have fun play your role and wear the clan tag i don't see the point in having so many rules

So, each clan has a specific role, such as Police,Bounty Hunters, etc. and to make a clan is very easy. just get some people together, make a little recruitment message on one of the boards ,and congrats, you are now in charge of a clan. What rules are you saying are demanding tho?

I don't think all of the existing pirate clans require month trials
Some of them may be just for you.

All they Need to Do is TAX any ship That Moves.

Ok, SO the main reason DP clan has a trial period and some joining requirements is that we have had people join in the past, been on for about 1 week and then leave.
The main reason we have those requirements now is to try to make sure who ever wants to join is serious about it.
I hope this explains why these rules are in place for us.
If you are going to start your own clan Best of luck mate. Could do with another clan around

as you say your new here. the clans have been around for a many years, some of them. and there leaders have certain requirements. the clan roles have certain requirements too. most important is to follow the server rules. those rules are set by op and is his right. he along with a dedicated team and other helpers made this mod. there is a lot here from time to time who come and go. yes it is a game. but remember it is still one of the top games even for its age. voters ( players ) say that.
the game is what you yourself make it. a lot of players have been around a long time and take a break from time to time. and return.
simply put. check what each clan stands for and the requirements. wanderer put a link for you to go to and do that. your choice is to join or not join. but you won,t get far with the clans if your going to be judgemental of them either.

Good luck with build and maintain a clan! ... for me it was big pleasure and fun for a long time at Crossfire server. And if you will decide to run official clan, then you will have what to do for a long time just by working on clan base if you chose to do so.
