Well, did you assemble it correctly?
And yes, I usually get the Energy Crystals in Rhuntath.

To assemble this device it is required to have three unequipped special parts (Cloaking Device Reflector, Cloaking Device Crystal and Cloaking Device Components) and more than 100M credits on your character (ship). Cloaking device parts weren't developed by humans and can't be found in human controlled Crossfire Universe Sectors.
And it doesn't take any equipment slots after assembling.

three points though. a. those energy crystals for the cloak device do take up cargo space. b. those crystals can only be bought from there. c. they are a fuel
hence if you do construct a cloak device. be very wise when you use it and for how long. no crystals no device.

(IOC)Scarface135 .. it is also possible manufacture energy crystals on clan bases (fully built) which needs then only time and common purchaseable resources (commodities). To be part of existing clan with already build base have its advantages. Cloaking device is perfect tactical tool, if you will learn how to use it properly ... it have strong but also weak sides
