  • Ruivo: Finally a man who will confess his own guilt and flaws, with contrition! My hat's off to you mate, for at least coming clean, and deciding to "cowboy up", as we say here in the US. It's this kind of chipping and polishing that makes for a jewel, and you have the potential for UAC to be just that. The only cure for distrust is to put in the time to re-earn it, so saddle up, and bring your lunch, it's a long ride ahead, full of the unexpected. I can tell you first hand, that becoming seasoned as a clan leader takes time and a willingness to change.... 8)

Finisher: Your eloquent analysis and commentary buy you some credibility with me, mate. Come check out IOC if you want some interesting mates to fly with... :D

  • Finisher - i thought i would be the only1 writing such long posts ^^

the nephele problem is no problem at all - there are ways around it... and a way through it... to ask if you can go through takes maybe 1-2 mins and it helps to grow communication

    Ruivo
you may not remember coz you were not here at this time
long time ago i also made such a mistake by giving information from ASF to CSF and other information back to ASF
    it caused heavy trouble
well i didnt deny that i have done coz its not my style... i agreed that it was a mistake... i even offered to resign as admin
finally the most members of this community wanted me to stay and said that mistakes do happen (the same way the members of this community do this now)
i was glad that they gave me a chance to gain back the respect

the same way you will regain the respect if you really want it
but that does only work if you stay and work for it

    final thing:
that "call me god" was born out of a joke that was made in StarLancer after i finished a game which did end 100:0 (perfect game)
    "omg"
    "you can call me op"
"no ill call you god now"
the same way i say "lets dance", the same way members of my clans have a special greeting or the same way why my gamerooms always were called "The Art of WAR" this "call me god" belongs to me and my history (that i never want to forget)
    dont take it that serious

But a prefect game...there must be at least a little divinity in there somewhere :D.

It never occured to me btw that getting through Nephele would be hard. I just parked outside the gate and asked a person. I didn't know if he understood, so I simplified my request, and a moment later the person's associate cleared me. I pinch of patience never killed anyone, so everybody stop making that an issue ;).

  • A very good reply Ruivo and I am glad that you will stay :)

  • Amhos ummmm.... as gay as that was... its so true... aint it great? ;)

@OP your last post was rather enlightening on a matter i once had issues with, i appreciate you sharing the humor behind it, it makes things much clearer... waaay back when i thought it was just 'big-headedness'. Not that you dont have any ;) nah, its cool, im prideful too, its human nature, i just used to think you fell off the globe cuz how much pride u had, but i was a wee bit confused, i only wish that some of the things could have been made clearer to me ages ago.

@Carbine i agree with you, Ruvio, i dont realy know you, but i heard plenty good things about you reading forum and from Blur, you speak(type) in a extraordinarily peaceful, and polite.

    good day mateys!

Nah! its not gay... its an overaesthetical (kitch) provocative, sincere-ironic, way of expressing very complicated human issues...
Sexual culture of our days deal with sentiments in a sexual fashion, so telling things like that, would be readly interpreted as "sweety" or "gay" or "romantic"...
But, indeed, the overaesthetical issue brings to the post a non-conventional man-to-man mode of communication. This way, you and probably others, have interpreted the post in a "gay" fashion. As communication is not one-way, the interpretative role was yours. In conclusion, the "gayness" of the communication was at ur side, not mine. :D

And... [2] This is not spamm, as he has tried to associate my post with spurious conotations and me, an old and respectable Pirate, I have the right of response. [8]

  • @ Ruivo welcome back m8. Very happy you and UAC will stay. We all say and do things we regret. He who has not sinned let him cast the first stone. In my eyes you are a good and honorable person. You could have left, instead you chose the more difficult path of humility and reconciliation. I would be proud to fly with you any time.

@Amos. Arrrr matie methinks that pegleg has another purpose. Avast a kinder gentler pirate. Joking sez I.

  • All these remind me a good Beatles song:

"Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love.
There's nothing you can do that can't be done.
Nothing you can sing that can't be sung.
Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game
    It's easy.
There's nothing you can make that can't be made.
No one you can save that can't be saved.
Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be in time
    It's easy.
All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.
Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love.
All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.
There's nothing you can know that isn't known.
Nothing you can see that isn't shown.
Nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be.
    It's easy.
All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.
All you need is love (all together now)
All you need is love (everybody)
All you need is love, love, love is all you need...

    Sorry m8s, i couldnt resist :D

    Regards,

    RG

PS: Wavey, m8 you said that after a good fight among friends you like to drink some beers, so I guess this round is on you, right??

    [4] Don't argue, [3] Just do it

  • well - the problem with the server is that it is running absolutly smooth but a single dll file which is needed to run flshell does always say "no no... 64bit thats too much for me... im just a little file and can only count to 32"

the creator of flshell did not compile it correctly or did leave out the part saying that it may run with any win version instead with just a 32bit nt service (but haegar does know more about it)

the creator of flshell is not around anymore.. his website is down... ive visited all the places he was active in but there he is not any longer and i got no reply on the mail ive sent to him
