Probably most of you noticed my recent absent from the CF server. This has a
motive. I was together with DS and PiA in the NQ server.

And i was, nothing less than, ABSOLUTELY IMPRESSED with that server!
First of, the server configuration is way better than op's server. The server
can hold up to 50 players with absolutely no lag. NO LAG!!! NO LAG!!! NO LAG!!!

Every moment, every situation, event in the server feels like Single Player.
I've been in battles with almost 30 players involved, full Roleplay, and no lag
at all! Not an single yellow blink! Never!! The battle went smoothly as an NPC
battle in single player. There was Capitol ships, destroyers, cruisers, battles,
freighters, fighters, everything there. No lag! And i can assure, those battles
happens at least once at a day.

The battleships themselves are fully integrated, and a important part of the
mod. First of all, 90% of the stations can dock them. One of the biggest ones
has armor greater than the strike carrier, moves more swiftly than the soulforge
train, it's huge in size and it can take up to 15 turrets that goes from 0.5
refire rate with 6000 hull and shield damage, up to 8.33 anti-fighter turrets.

So resuming, it takes another battleship to destroy a battleship. Or at least an
organized and well-equipped full 10 fighters squadron.

I'm saying that because i propose we move to there, once our renting period of
Regalis ends. Not only because there we can not rent, but BUY our OWN CUSTOM
DESIGNED SYSTEM with GAME MONEY, like asking the admin to create a system named
UAC home system, and with an station named T'Leth inside it. With any kind of
billboards, any where.

But also because the CF server may not survive to the end of the year. OP is
getting a lot paranoid, a little TOO hard to deal with, he doesn't reply any of
my pm's (unless i pm him saying that i'm sending money) when i ask him about us
beeing in the console. OP also made harsh accusations against DS with no
apparent reason and i have proof of that, DS sent me the MSN log where OP,
clearly puts PiA in global KOS (KOS in all FL servers) with all BG friends, only
because they've decided to move to a server where R39 is.

Im my personal experience, in one week the R39 guys gained a lot more credit wth
me than Op did in 6 months, he might be an excellent modder, and with the best
intentions, but he is rude, stubborn and close minded.

The true contrary of NQ admin, Iceman, that despite the name, is a guy pretty
much like DS. He is a friendly guy, who tries to make friendship with everyone,
who likes everyone, who HELPS EVERYONE AND ACCEPTS HELP WHEN OFFERED, and don't
throw what he did i the face of noone. He's nothing like Op, he just flies among
the players, lost in the croud like a normal player. If you didn't knew who was
the admin, you would never say that he's the one.

The resume of the motives:

CF is falling appart, and the administrator is impossible to deal with, he
constantly act's with rudeness, or ignores the players. He was asked about bugs
in Regalis' ships, and said "IT"S NOT MY PROBLEM!!"

I sent loads of pm's to him regarding our business in Regalis and our business
as a server clan. He replied, none.

But wait, he replied the pm were i said we were sending 60 euro.. Don't worry
recon, he'll return the money if you want.

The own money he says that is used for the server, it's not. The NQ server
requires way less donations, and it's way superior to CF's one.

well - we see that different

The leaders agreement was an pact between the clan leaders after the Chaos war,
were all clans agreed to help each other no matter the role.

It was OP, and not DS who broke this agreement when R39 left and CFPD was
formed. I can assure that, trust me. OP broke the leaders agreement, and not DS.

Resuming, we can no longer deal with OP's attitude, and we can't benefit from
nothing more. Not only us, but apparently a lot of ppl will pack up and leave in
the next months.

To be honest, Op is pissing A LOT of people in the LR and FL community, that's
for shure, and he's starting war with EVERYONE for reasons and motives only he
knows.

So, my proposition is to remove UAC from the sinking ship. Before it dies with
it.

Let me clarify something to UAC....and listen VERY carefully.

R39 left Crossfire some time ago and I CHOSE to remain with the Crossfire Community to finish what I started and that was to continue supporting and building Freelancers and some clans.

I CHOSE to form the CFPD since CF was in need of a police clan desperately and this was no way influenced by anyone.

Now for UAC to post that they are staying in CF for a long time and now to read this.......is to say the least, very appalling.

As for the lag issues, well our new server is coming very soon....and once again, we will demonstrate how our community will be the best, as it is now the first thing on my list to do.

what disturbs me most is that i got a PM from him where he asked to understand this and to stay on good terms and then i get what he really writes to his members about the community and about me

Just remember that when i first came here, R-39 was in the last stages of leaving, so, i never really knew then. But as for me going to NQ because of PiA, that's not true. The choice to go to NQ is because of PiA, because NQ was the only server were now i had friends at, so that just made me shure of something i was wanting to do for some time, move on to another place.

My reasons are just one. Mine, and UAC's. The game was boring, and much of our RP efforts were going in vain. The last RP atempt (KRT) almost leaded to a war.

Well m8, i'll miss everyone, really. I thank you for never ignoring me, or my clan. That's really all i'll just ask from anyone, and i'll miss things here badly, that's from me and all UAC. Thanks for giving me a space to grow, and for supporting us, supporting us to the point we're able to just walk with our own feet, and move on. Even not knowing what you may say, Thanks for all m8.

maybe you should ask for yourself how often i did something for you and your clan... and how often you returned it

Hmmmmmm.
IMO if they want to leave just let them. I don't agree with them trying to slam op even though he and I have had our didfrences in the past. But posting a thead Ike this will only promote bad feelings all around. Let them leave and let it die.

We're losing UAC too? -_- I've grown fond of a great number of people over the past few months, but I must say that it's rather hard watching them all leave in clan-sized groups for other servers I never see DC members around, PiA and UAC are gone, and what's next? I don't like what's happening to this community at all, and the suspence is a bit unnerving. Are people going to keep leaving on this scale, or is this the equivelent to a factory worker losing his arm in an accident ?(?

(Btw, imao the gerenal feeling around here is quite bad already)

Well, the first thing i must say is that I took, and i take responsability for this, so noone in my clan except of myself has any guilt on it.

Now, the only persons who received the first message was the persons who were registered at UAC forums. It was told to me that there were spies everywhere, but i didn't belived, so i just mass emailed this message to all e-mails registered on my forum to explain why we were leaving CF. But clearly i see i have been betrayed by people i consider close to me, as for noone outside UAC should have seen this.

Obviously, everyone, every clan has their own affairs and their own privacy. And they all have things that they would not like to become public. So true that the clan sub-forums here are password protected only for the members of that clan.

Everyone say to me, every one of my friends say that i should leave without saying anything, just leave. But i have disagreed with them, so i published the reasons for our leave, the reasons that would cause minimal damage, that's why i wanted to keep those reasons in the first message inside the clan.

As for saying that i wanted to help the RP get back on it's feet, i meant every word of it. But i have commited the mystake of beeing honest and saying that i would leave anyway in the same post. Clearly that was set to cause more damage than if we left now.

For that and other things i decided it wouldn't be right to expose my personal opinion of yourself. I respect you, i never said otherwise, but i have the right to disagree with your attitude sometimes.

Once more i say, that e-mail was directed to UAC members only, the same members that share my opinion, all the members, that's why i included. What was i supposed to reply to the guy who gave you the money, when he came to me and said "Ruvio, could you talk to op please? I asked him about the APC bug and he replied it was not his problem."

The same guy who was willing to give the 60 euros just as a donation, without the need to rent a system.

He is a little shy, and i clearly saw how he was ofended and intimidated.

Well, those things were to been kept in private to spare the comunity from more problems. I ask myself were else there are spies, so that now i must leave in constant fear that the things said on our very home, in this case the UAC forum are beeing watched by hidden eyes. I really see how keeping a spy inside our sacred home is a way of supporting us.

This is the thing I was talking about, you are getting angry and causing instigating reactions that would not normally be there unless you point it out.

And sending a spy to watch over what people say in other forums? You gotta admit that is pretty high on the paranoid scale. Sorry man, I have a lot of respect for you as a modder and your mod is one of the best I have ever seen, but as a person you have little experience on human relations.

I am irritated because in a public post in the forums, UAC said they were staying at CF, contrary to the rumors of UAC leaving.

Turns out it was just ploy to buy some time, in order to move to NQ.

That is what bothers me.

there is no bug with the apc and it never has been reported to
i think to remember that i was asked in game if there is a problem with the large transporter and that i said that i cant do anything about it coz the beta testers did shit again

Ok op, you're right, as always. As for me? I've taken on decisions i can't go back... and i don't think i would in most of them..

It's your word agains't mine, your opinions agains't mine, and you're the leader of the community. So debating on it will only cause more trouble and pain, and you'll sucede in throwing everyone agains't me.

I accept i have nothing more to say, i recogize my defeat, but hear this, i don't back down from my opinions. Since that all the resons i had, including the ones i kept in private are now public, noone can say that those are lies.

I'm christian since i was born, and belive it or not, i leave with no hatred, but good wishes instead in the heart.

I think it's obvious enought to say that all the dirty clothes were washed and nothing more needs to be discussed. Since my privacy has been seriously violated i am open for everyone to make their opinion on me. I can just ask for you to be fair and inpartial.

i dont want you and ur members to go but it seems you made up your mind and that even my explainations wont change anything

you guys will leave CF behind and i will not risk that r39 gets any influence on CF members again and when you are on NQ i cant be sure of that anymore
you will see how nice they are when you are on NQ... they will talk to you like angels... but once you have seen how they really are and that they start shit with CF every 2-3 months you will see the truth

I don't think you should lie, but you need to think about what you are saying the others. Don't you know that what you say hurts us too? OP you are a good person but you must understand how people feel.

Ruivo, you are a fine person and have always strived for finding solutions. You cut through all the garbage and see things for what they are. I wish you good fortune hope that your lot find greener pastures at NQ. As for me, I'm torn between the parts of the community that are still here and the ones that are elsewhere. I will stay because my closest friends are in the part of it left here, but I am disgusted by the sheer ignorance and prejudice displayed by certain people. It's uncivilized and juvenile. Now how are we going to go about improving things here? The current trend of losing (well-established) clans seems to suggest that change is needed rather badly, not to mention soon

The correct ship is the Armored Transport (AT), not the APC. It's not a trivial difference, but an indication of the lack of attention to detail when communicating with someone who you expect to do something for you.

Would you go to your corporate CEO with an error-filled proposal, and get upset with him if he threw you out of your office for slacking on your job? This is the scale of such miscommunications with OP. He is the CEO here, his time is limited, and few people respect it enough to come prepared to the meeting, wasting valuable time that could be more productively invested in those who ARE prepared.

The sad part of this whole thread is not only that so many people have no patience, or long-term thinking, but that they act with such duplicity. It reveals a lack of character, an unwillingness to be honest, to own up to one's own motives, loyalties (or lack thereof), and commitments. Unless people adapt to the culture of any community, then they will be unhappy. Every community has good and bad aspects; it's only a commitment to making a long-term contribution that can bring satisfaction and ownership in that community.

It's always easiest to turn one's back on challenges when one demonizes the source of the challenge. Despite my own differences with OP, I have come to realize that he truly wants the leaders in this community to strive for an ideal, and to reach beyond the petty and mundane, toward excellence. Obviously, not everyone is willing to walk that road...[schuechtern]
