this is very true as i was 1 of those people who was very succesfull

at hunting and killing pirates and even running them off server [i have only done that to 1

clan many moons ago lol not no more] thing is i dont see many pirates that have the hart

that sum of the hunters do sum pirate clans r 6000% dedicated but most aint. and it all thx

to people like me lol and the fact that fl is an old game now with only good mods like this

one keeping people intrested cos microsoft cant be arsed to make a 3rd 1 oh well

lol.

BUT if the pirates cannot live from their

prey then it is hopeless !
Pirates get richer buy trading then by bording ships !!
If

we want to have successfully pirate clans or freelancers pirates then we need a sort of

commodity that brings a lot to the looter.

ex: STUFF buyed at planet MIN for 20.000 a

piece selled at far planet MAX for 40.000 ( or 50.000).

Trader makes a huge profit

IF he gets in MAX.

Pirate makes good profit with loot of 20.000 but he may NOT sell

it at planet MAX ( protected by bounty clan or mercenary clan or special police clan ...),

He must sell it to any other station for 20.000 !

So traders will need to travel with

escort all the way to MAX and have to ask the protection of bounty/mercenary/escorting clan

======> good RPG

If you take MIN= Cambridge and MAX = Vienna then traders have

several routes to get at destination and pirates have plenty places to make an ambush except

in Purian Lake.

If there are no pirates then traders will have still difficulties to

travel in freeport 7 ( Nomads, NPC pirates and why not some lost coalition rebels !!!

)

New Pol has some good points.

There are some FL priates in the server, as I

know a few who are not affiliated with LP.

I think they are hesitating to play their

role in fear of being killed by other players.

As some members of LP will tell you,

R_39 and some LP have a good time trying to tax each other and then end up in a good

multi=player fight. Last one was in Taursus and lasted for a good hour...we had a

blast.

So why not play your role and add some excitement to the server?

I've never seen an act of piracy, all I've seen pirate clans

do is violate system and server rules and justify their actions as piracy afterward. Maybe

breaking system rules is piracy though, like going into custodian and do an armed trading

operation, but violating server rules is different, that just pisses everyone

off

a clan with asystem and u have your rules and then back them up with admin powers aint that

M8, my post was making a point....as most FL players do

not like being hunted.

So your comments are not necessary and niether are your

insults to those players who choose not to engage in PVP.

Gunny, he's not talkin 'bout people in general, he's talkin' bout pirates who

don't wanna fight. And, in this case, I have to agree with him. If you wanna be a pirate,

you should expect to fight, and die.

Now, if your a trader, you shouldn't have to

pvp. You hire mercs to help you.
