No opening graphics

    I've actually had this problem since 1.9 after I upgraded to Windows 8.1, but now here is 2.0 and it's still there - or rather not there.


    The opening graphics no longer show, I hear everything but can't see anything but a black screen.


    If I hit ESC once I get to the main menu everything is fine, but I'd like to view he opening story myself rather than from a YouTube video.


    Anyone having this problem know how o fix it?

    I actually got it to work by running in Windows 7 mode, but now my problem is the graphics of the Suns rays is big and blocky, looks like a low res setting of some kind yet everything in options is maxed out.


    Any ideas here?

    Crossfire 2.0 on Windows 8.1 ... there is more about install under WIN 8

    Thanks Forlon, one more question - during install before launch of SP I had the option to choose cursor styles Trent, Juni etc. how can I get that back, I don't see that menu anymore and I need to change my pointer the square thingy I just can't get use to.

    This all is possible to do once you start mod ACTIVATION in FLMM in options menu shown there (It is exactly the same like it was in 1.9). Atm you have only 2 options: to reinstall mod again (FAQ); or in cursors case you may try old 1.9 guide for change cursors (also FAQ) which may work the same way.

    What it does - but only with the .txm installed.
    Using others than these, i.e. still somewhere stored older ones or selfmade from older ones, doesn't work.

    You know what ... i can see all the movies... but its all MIRROR IMAGE ...
    I dont see SWAT but i see TAWS ... plus, the reaching hand is supposed to be from the bottom... but mine is reaching from above ...


    And i have no idea how its happened ...

    As it turns out the solution was under the link Forlon gave me above for graphics issues, including the pointer problem looking like it did.


    Now I have another problem with wide screen mode, in some places the text overlaps. I found where to change thi from the CF 1.9 info, but I need know the default settings...anyone know?

    Thanx a million Wanderer, I actually used both methods listed in the link you provided by MourHuhn and SilverFox.


    Now not only does my text look awesome and re-sized perfectly, but I also get an option to pick my cross-hair type and lane warp color at the start of every game...Kudos Mate! :walklike:
