nice and interesting discussion here

when i started to explore for a LF (well, actually i went and took just the Hermes) and made some PvP with it, i noticed that LF-s are not balanced: most of them are small, quick and agil, but have no firepower (guns only level 6 or similar). on the other hand there are a few LF-s with level 10 guns, level 10 shield, but they move like a cupboard. it was clear from the beginning that players will choose the powerful LF-s.

so my idea of having many different ships in the event didn't become reality. that's why i was thinking of limiting the level of the guns to maximum 8 for HF-TDM. but maybe this should have been cleared from the beginning.

nvm. i decided to follow 1 simple definition: a heavy fighter is what our wiki here defines as heavy fighter: link

i think OP-R8R and the dev-team had their reasons to classify ships in this way. and on the other side it is the easiest way for newbies to find an adequate ship (go, check wiki, find the ship). within these from wiki given classes are no any further restrictions: u can take the best equipment of ur choice.

2 participants of the last LF-TDM told me, they cannot participate today in HF-TDM. i hope we get some other players to event, otherwise i will stage a simple Deathmach.

results for the second part: Heavy Fighter TDM

we had a really pure Stinger-TDM. for points count only kills and suicides.
