    O.K Hi I am new. Beta-5 is my same nickname on lancers reactor.


    now to the topic


    Ive played 1.5 for a week now and wanted to find death valey. I found it :D Then scince sol was so big i stormed it with datastorm. Got the cordinates of some jump gate and flew twords it. I was playing my game boy while the ship was on auto pilot. All of a suden these arms of light were reacheng tword my ship!?! I reversed engines but kept heading tword it like it was a black hole! Then i turned ito this huge sun thing called a deminsional rift! I stupidly docked! when i came out the other end (by the way i like the music) I was destroyed almost instantley by 30 nomad interseptors and what 10 nomad battleships escorted by strike carriers!!!! What hapend??

    good pilots normally survive the dimensional rift and reach styx and the other nomad systems
    after that its possible to reach the coalition systems


    the blackhole does nothing .... just some damage (like a real blackhole)

    Couldn't this datastorm thing be cheating


    somehow, as it can give players an unfair advantage over others? That reminds me, earlier,


    some guy named Marsupio in my group started using something similar. He called it explorer


    or something like that, said some stuff about laying out a network to see that the altair


    systems were on top of sol on the nav map, finding an admin system above a certain planet,


    etc. I am posting this to inquire as to if these people are subject to termination by


    anyone, the server police, or not at all.

    We cannot keep people from using tools like datastorm or other ini-files readers, it is


    (when you do it in MP) very childish to use it, completely going by at the original ideas of


    Freelancer: exploring, researching.

    Station mission, I keep failing it because it said that I did not take the jump gate to


    Magellan when I did (it gets half way through and I get the fail mission message). Getting

    well since 2 years i say that datastorm is the worst thing that has


    been coded for Freelancer
    its like a curse for this game


    ppl open datastorm and


    just search what they need to find instead of playing
    they find those object much easier


    and faster
    and then they get bored coz there is nothing to explore
    finally they leave


    FL coz they have nothing to do anymore
    if Datastorm wouldnt be created we would have way


    more players on Freelancer now
    well thats my oppinion and if you think about it its the


    truth


    thats why i searched for ways to hide things from datastorm ->


    deathvalley
    or give incorrect data -> the altair sector
    ppl had to explore everything


    and if you remember how long it took in CF1.4 till the ppl have found Deathvalley and how


    long they tried to find it
    and in CF1.5 you always see ppl on the server exploring the


    altair sector

    it much But When Ive explored for 24 days straight i use character editor to put myself


    back in liberty.


    Character Editor Doese Not Work In multiplayer PLUS i can't playit


    becuase my computer always hangs up.


    I don't EVER Cheat Plus I HATE god mode
