    That is just the dark crystals... cus real life sucks, there was no Twilight, and the empire just converted into the dark green crystals which keep corrupting everything.


    You remember, that the dark magic is green, right ? Mainly, green with dark blue shadows... wait, there are blue crystals too ^^
