It looks like tougher issue, after restart is server not in the list.

today the server was completely down (i think network error or something like that)

didnt even get on it and it had no ping

only good thing is that the changed i did yesterday seemed to work and after i forced the server hardware to restart it automatically logged in and started all software to fun the FLserver

so in case of a normal windows crash the server will automatically do everything to get fl running again

i noticed at least 10 server crashs today. one guy said, if that happens again, he will leave the server. it happened again and he left. well ya, ppl have no patience, but it is annoying. are there any attacks on the server? is there anything we, the players, can do (except restart from desktop)?

no problems with the hardware
if it was suddenly crashing then somebody did something with the FL client to do that

if not mistaken, more than 20 times happened to me yesterday... yesterday was the worst situation actually...
Can you imagine, podding in omicron minor, with full load of BS and cruiser pods... suddenly gone... i almost ..... nevermind...
anyway, i hope CF 2.0 will not be like that... hehehe

its not a problem related to the mod or its quality
its a problem related to people entering the server either with bugged mod installation or with bugged chars

Well Sir, i have been using the same char and installation since the beginning actually... never encounter crashing like that yesterday...
i know it's not related to the mod's quality... but... hmmm... i dont know what to say apparently...

if your installation is clean then fine
but you still would crash if somebody else is crashing the server

is there any possibility to find the one with bugged installation? maybe a GR can?

The server was brilliant up until about a week ago, everything was working as best as I have seen it in all the time I have been here. Very few crashes and everything worked fine. Now the server has become unplayable. Missiles and cds just fly off into space as if no target has been selected. The server crashes every few minutes. If there is no way of knowing who or what is responsible, we have a serious problem to solve.Are we sure it is not a server problem? I find that portal itself is not responding as it normally does; links slow or failing to open. The portal itself, slow or failing to open. I have checked my internet explorer and other sites are fine.

We are damn sure that CF server is working fine.
It has not even any connection to the portal server (which even has a different host)
