    i stumbled across that info on the pre-patching thread on the official forum. Decided to give it a try and it worked for me, so i decided to share it with you.
    those are both launcher options btw.

    Not sure what that prepatch thing was....I signed in and it looks I still have to do 10GB download? Not to mention that the server is dling at about .0000000001kbps....looks like this will take about a month to complete^^


    Hopefully my fresh windows install and such will let me play without a bazillion crashes

    I will let it download through the night, or wait till everybody got it and then download faster. :D

    I haven't reloaded all things back to pc because I want to confirm that reloading windows helped (hopefully). LOL...since I started the dl when the server came back online...I'm up to 2.1% patched. I never thought I would see speeds slower than original dial up^^ Oh well, back to planting my garden and enjoy the day.

    I started patching when the server was offline, it was fast, then it slowed down, and I restarted it to see if it gets better, then I got another patch dimension etc. so, dunno, lol.

    Patched 35, received 37, lol


    Updated launcher, downloading much faster.

    launched it... noticed graphical bugs on the menu screen + a new free char slot
    tried to join the server... without luck as it was full
    waited in the queue half an hour... then the game crashed
    giving up for today

    When I'm on the "Retrieving characters" screen I get:


    Login failed for an unknown reason.


    That mean the server is full?
    My characters toasted?


    I put in a ticket. No response yet.

    I finally got it downloaded.....I get the same screen Rex....no idea here.

    Toasted characters, that sounds appetizing. Anyway, nope, your chars are safe, they are always safe as they are saved, it's probably just a loading bug.

    Yep, it was. I'm in. Played for 15 minutes and the servers down again for "emergency maintenance". Hope it's not too long.
    Probably going to see this happening a lot until they get the major bugs worked out.

    Well I got to see my char screen after the maintenance but...kept checking in to see where I am in the queue...lol....looks like I have to wait for 14k more people to sign out of the game before I can see if it even works. I give up today.


    Really, how many days you think it's going to be full server with "stand in line" bull shit?

    for me all OK, few graphic bug, new respec token, new traits (acc trait ...check), LAGacy of Romulus as I expected, new EPtX subsystem combos (now considering to play 125/125/80/80 all time xD, new warpcores... Star Trek Online



    Played ISE (lagy) got 75 omegas and 6 proc and go offline.
