We understand that some alien ships have been causing a lot of trouble. We can't allow that to continue. Please fly to Innеr Corе sеctor and rid us of those pests. Be advised that some Motherships may be operating out there as well, so be cautious. We thought you could use some help so once you get out there, a group of human ships will be dispatched to hook up with you.

P.S. Feel free to bring any ship you like!

The route of this expedition was: Inner Core gate -> Repair Buoy (E3) -> Jormdar gate -> Repair Buoy (E6) -> Deep Space 17 station.

By request of the mission commission, all alien forces were to be eliminated on sight. A secret secondary objective was to collect samples of all cargo types carried by enemy ships and deliver them to Deep Space 17 for examination.

The character of enemy encounters suggested that the aliens' strategy was to delay the expedition in Venn system by a series of consecutive attacks, while preparing a larger force in Jormdar, where they would attempt to immobilize and defeat human ships with simultaneous attacks by two or even three fleets at once. It is still under investigation whether such coordinated activity could have been caused by a leak of the mission plans to enemy intel.

Nevertheless, the expedition was a success, although it took nearly 4 hours for the human fleet to finish the route. The enemy strategy was effectively countered by tactical advantage of human ships, courage of participating pilots, and a timely strategic decision by the mission commission to spare alien motherships in Jormdar, as they posed little threat without the escorting cruisers, but destroying them would significantly hold back the expedition (which could be part of enemy's plan).

All participating pilots received 10 mill credits either in cash or via bank transfer (please use /statement command to check), and those who made it to Deep Space 17, and thus helped deliver the cargo samples, received extra 10 mill above that.

Sample analysis showed that only the following 5 commodity types can be carried by alien ships: Consumer Goods, H-Fuel, Niobium, Pharmaceuticals and Silver.

This information will be useful for future operations in the Inner Core.

Thanks to all for coming and see you next time!

GNPjzaf.png You did it - the area is clear.
    Well done!
