Hit&Run pvp style

For a short ambush its quite ok.
To surprise the "victim", or to simply distract them from other ongoing stuff.

But when you talk about a pvp in arena. there it would not make any sense to hit and run.

i done it yesterday to THE-ONE cos he opened fire on me earlier, died very quickly
there should be a sip made especially for that sorta stuff (2.0 idea swat) with 100 impulse speed a decent turn rate, not as good as thanatos, maybe eagle equivalent

No sense of this in Arena...

Useful in the field though. Hunting bounties and stuff.

I consider those chicken, and will get pounded by a guy or another for it

Though this is why I keep telling ppl that going afk in space is dangerous xD

Why would that not be ok?

Logically, if it's bounty hunting - I'm there for the bounty. If I get the bounty, my job is done and I'm outta there.
If the other guy has a problem with that, he's welcome to chase me, it's his time & money.

If I wanted pointless PvPs, I'd be in Arena.

It is no RP if you don't fight for what you chase It's more like a transfer of money and done.

So now, it'll be ok if that guy and his team come after you for backstabbing ? Good to know

I think for bounty hunter its ok as well.
They dont have to give a warning prior attacking. And when someone has a bounty on the head, they should watch their surroundings anyway.

Pirates attack cops also in a hit&run mode. Same do cops with pirates. No problem with that. It's on the "victim" to start chasing the runner, or to call for help or place a bounty on the runner or whatever.
And backstabbing.. well. lots of people do that, because they would not succeed in a face to face confrontation to begin with.

... Imo player with bounty should check who is around ... if he sit in front of planet Crossfire with bounty ... then he simply deserve run/hit end We are talking about bounty, not about assassination contract. I agree fully with Shockwave about this.

Yeah it's ok counting the rules, and maybe even spice up RP instead of making it less fun IF Mercs are ok with getting chased after it (where it's nearly(?) the first time I see one agreeing with it).

And backstabbers get their stabbing multiplied as far as I've seen hehe

What are you talking about?

I chase my bounties, I work for them, I spend money on equipment, armor and time on training to get them. It's nothing like a transfer of money - if it were that simple, there would be no need of mercenary licence.

It's also not backstabbing; guys above are right - if you have a bounty on your head, YOU HAVE A FRICKIN' BOUNTY ON YOUR HEAD. Watch where you're going and who is coming your way.

Well if you´re in the middle of a 1v1 RP pvp and support for your enemy shows up it´s just bad luck for you, no more no less.

Well, I meant in his opinion it'll be "backstabbing" the reason he comes after you, probably.

Did you mean hit = damage the shield and maybe a bit hull & run = run as fast as possible so he cant get revenge for the repair costs?
