I didn't have much chance to get to know you better in the game but I wish you good voyages. CF is a work in-progress and at times has it's ups and downs. If and when you return, please remember that it takes veterans like you to help make progress happen. Balances change, gameplay changes etc. but at least we all (I suspect you as well), will always search the space sims and look hard to find anything like Freelancer or the CF mod. Good voyages m8

I am glad that he took the time to make a goodbye letter,
but for some reason I am also glad that not everyone who abandoned FL or CF posted such letters...

there are great games to play these days.
Many people wonder how an 9 year old game, still has so many fans, and people like me playing.
I am rich, i have plenty ships, i know CF universe from top to botton, and there isn´t too much to learn or discover at this point in CF.

So what make me continue playing this mod?
very simple awnser... its my friends i have here. Everyday is different. playing alongside them, share good and bad news, having fun with them, training new recruits, see people crying about us.
If you dont have a goal in a MP game you will give up sooner or later. I dont really care if people love me or hate me. In the end of the day i know i will find my friends there... and for me its the most important thing... having friends and having fun.
People that plays for revenge, personal vendettas or live this game as RL problems, sooner or later will give up... i have seen too many people in this situation

All speaks about a game as it would be more important than a girlfriend, indeed we all have friends, i've met enough gaming friends from another MMORPG i used to play, but...i've seen brothers scamming each other for ittems, i've seen news of russians stabing each other cus of the game, i've seen a comercial with a fat ass bitch that she'll pwn idk who's ass in RL cus of WOW, Dark_raven i share your point of view up till the part when i'm tellign you in games friends from today are enemys from tomorow maybe except the ones from rl... We have a life, indeed play it but fck it cus it's a bitch eat it cus it's sweet and bitter, drink it cus we have only one liver , open your eyes so you can see, open your mouth to taste the shits around you, i've been there done that...seen many...sloppy good bye letters on a forum means nothing to me

Maybe, will be very good, to new MOD, new systems, unknow systems, hidden systems/planets/JG/JH,........which isn´t on MAP, suicides systems with HARD patrols... Yes, i know, it´s hard to do it, but in the end, is more options to play longer and finding "unknown", if you flying in absolutely unknown system, no navigation map, amazing environment around you, things around you. Yes=easy idea, hard to do it.
