AFaIK There seems to be no way to leave Hyperspace to Menton... And there is no way back from the Inner Core sector either. Is there another way out of Hyperspace? (Or is it just that "Back to Normal Space" which I think will just take you back to Phanchdar but it actually won't and I'm just being retarded?)
I'm stuck on the mission where it tells you to "Find a Job", and since I can't find any in DK space I'm attempting to return to Sirius, or at least Altair.

... once you enter Hyperspace, you always will leave it in Menton. Entry and exit point is the same.And in SP message 'Find a Job' (in inner core) mean that extended campaign ended and you can do what you want.
but dont worry, in 2.0 the campaign will continue where it stopped

Well, adding few points to Forlon's, the hole of "Back to normal space" was created before Inner Core existed. So that hole leads you back to Menton, with direction to the human Altair sector. So, it's the right path
There is no other hole, but those stationary DK Motherships have some surprises for you, but, no more spoilers.
When you want to go back to Inner Core, after you docked to Hyperspace, well... you can "motivate" some DKs to fire on you and you will be back to the last station you were on. But you will loose all cargo
