Dynamic Universe

  • Currently only the Dynamic Economy is active on the server. The Dynamic Universe known from Crossfire 1.7 is going to be fully reworked.


    Such a dynamic universe will contain different possible settings.

    • Hostile NPCs invading peaceful systems
    • Ion Storms which could cause damage to ships in specific areas
    • Malfunctions of Jumpgates
    • Random Jumpholes
    • Rift anomalies
    • Boycotts at stations
    • Tradelane malfunctions
    • and much more


    New is that these above described "dynamic events" come with visual changes aswell.
    You will see lightning storms, various effect changes and changes on the systems itself.


    Of course the news at the bars will inform you about the daily conditions.


    The creation of this dynamic universe will take some time... it will be updated bit by bit. More and more dynamic events will be added by time.

    Wrong, using the launcher, if you wait for it to patch, you will ahve the change for the Singleplayer option too ! :D

  • Aw man, imagine finally getting a train full of goodies after 10 dock and undocks, flying 5-6 systems, dodging cops and pirates, and then not making the last jump through the jumpgate - getting blown up in transit or ending up in Jokusuka after your jumphole misaligned.

    Like when Shocky would dock on his normal route a gate, andends up in middle of a minefield and BOOM ! :D



    LoL, with teh chance randomizer of OP, one day/week could be that there's a galactic influence of an destabilization of our galaxy's black hole, which gets radioactive in all the system, not only near the hole, and that provokes all teh gates and holes get unstable, with teh chance randomizer you'd have 5 % to 10 % chances to dissapear and appear in an unknown empty or alien system... or filled with explosive gases and makes you go KA BOOM. hehehe

    Maybe, I should declare that if I die in such traps, I will go and kill everyone on the server once, if they reengage me, more times ^^ Or dieing in the try until acomplishing it :D if it happens :P

  • when i tryed 1.7 i saw dom kavash attacking X system non stop for a whole day. was the only taste of this i ever got But omg Amazing feature op truly i have not seen this on any other mod and i can assure you that with this feature going strong,you will more than likely have the best idea for freelancer ive ever seen:D AWSOMENESS

  • The Dynamic Economy and the Dynamic Universe will elevate CF into a supreme position.It's already an awesome mod and adding these Dynamic layers will truly improve what most gamers love, excitement.


    It's great when Mother (OP) changes the baby's (CF) diaper...it feels good and makes us happy. :bohsw:

  • Can't wait to see the possibilities of the hostile Dom races invading Sirius systems! :D:D:D I thought the Dom'Kavash invading Sirius was bad enough back in 1.7, I can't wait to see what the madness the Dom'Razak/Warrior, Dom'Nepesh/Savage and Dom'Setek/Sentinels will unleash on unsuspecting Sirius pilots when they invade! :D I wonder if they will do the same in Altair space with the Dom'Kavash, Coalition and Nomad systems?
