  • Hi
I got the three Black Boxes and I sold them at the Coalition HQ,Im
looking for Rumors in Sovetskya's bars but all the word bubbles are
    empty

and there are no missions (says "come back when you're a more advanced
pilot" but I got missions here before also my level has been 38

for ages and nothing seems to raise it? Anybody got any ideas.

  • Then you got some corrupted files, because, on coalition stations, including Planet Murmansk, you get the rumor of what $%&[] is...

try restart your PC, and try again, or... you should reinstall the mod...
anyways the word you search is "Gurm" in an old military code, there you find another wreck.

  • Hi Vardek,

I can only add that in Coalition bases you can found info divided to two parts ...

For rumors this note : you have only one chance see them (for one character). If you go there with the same character next time, you can see only "empty word bubble".
For missions: The new missions in Altair (except Gorlovka carrier if i remember correct) are only against Coalition rogues. lvl 38 is IMHO too low for successfully take this missions with well organized and deadly NPCs as C.Rogues are.

You were there in CF 1.7? ..or in 1.8?. ...there could be changes (with min lvl for missions)

  • Hi
I have been to Murmansk before so maybe I've already seen the Rumors which would explain why there are empty word bubbles, but why is my level still 38
what do I have to do to raise it? "You were there in CF 1.7? ..or in 1.8?. ...there could be changes (with min lvl for missions)". I'm playing Crossfire 1.81.
    Vardek.

  • Level is raised with better equipment and owned money (for one character). ...try go back to Sirius and try gather better equipment and do few missions. ...if you know what to do with prisoners, you can raise your lvl quickly.

  • Level is increased with all ship+equipment value (sellable value, not orginal, it's why you can loose a lvl when buying something expensive, mounted and cargo stuff) + the $ in your inventory.

In Sirius, he means about 'prisoners' the escape pods the NPCs sell, which prison stations are very thankful if you sell them there :D
