with release of the CF1.8 it was necessary to delete all the chars. everybody had to start from scratch...

Hi Counterfeit....I would PM Op with your request and it would help if you have your MPID for that character. However, if your chars were created during the week after the backup was taken, then Im afraid it is gone.
Everyone had their chars rolled back by about 8 days due to a mishap with the server.

Sadly, I've been bitten by this bug today... Found my "SA_Revelations_ORION" character is gone, along with the 100 million on it too.

That's good, will keep the server going smoothly... if it has to find a char in a crap load of 9000 chars(as before) it takes a bit more
But the best part is the backup !! There's no such thing in other places where they do automatic inactivity eliminations

The 90 days/>10 mins. online time or character deleted is a good idea, however some advance warning to all pilots would be prudent.
Are you able to retrieve "SA_Revelations_ORION" from backups by any chance?
I guess storage characters are in jeopardy now for some...
