Can anyone tell me if there are plans to incorporate a banking system by which a player can share funds among his pilots?

Meh, the banking system is possible.. as it appears on some mod, and it's great.... but for now there's no ned of such thing, as here $ is a bit more... difficult to earn, and all started few weeks ago from scratch

Other mods I've played have the Command
Givecash "NAME of character" amount.
"Givecash Crookey 1000000"
You could send money say from your trader to your other character's no matter where they where. It saved flying half way around the galaxy and then having to find somebody in the same system to do a transfer for you. Which is a big problem when there's only 15 people on the server and there's 150+ systems they could be in.
This then leaves more time to play the game.

Yeah .. and imagine if somebody is near to a " crash " (near the limit of money per character) and somebody who's with a lot of money .. he can do a joke with him by crashing his character and then his entire account will be locked.. Not a bad idea anyways

i know server with bank system, you cant crash
and most you can only make an credtransfer to your own chars -
I know of half a million reasons which speak against a banking system such as:
- i dont have time for such a crap
- haegar has no time for such a crap
- its making SPs nervous
- abuse
- cheats
- bla bla bla
- yada yada yada

Anyway,
take a banking system as here proposed,
take an advanced mining system with miner-license/char etc as proposed in the thread mentioned above,
now add purchasable stations,
the possibility to built own trade lines,
[SIZE=3]and Crossfire goes X-Universe on the Freelancer engine[/SIZE]
Does anybody want this ?
