The duel is not between OP-R8R and TRF, it is between TRF and this community. If TRF would not have broken rules and agreements I could not imagine that anything of that would have started. But it is easiert to blame the one that has to punish instead of realizing the own mistakes.
Your insult to the members of this community by calling them that way shows me good enough that you and your friends have no respect for the members of this community including the ones which have invested their time and money to give you a home on this community during the past years. I do not know TRF that well but after the past weeks I am glad you are gone. No community on this planet needs such members.

I cant believe that i had to return for such a shit. For a bunch of bigmouths which think they stand high above rules, agreements and the other members of this community.

When I decided to turn SWAT into an open community I had in mind that ppl can have fun here, respect each other, trust each other and stick loyal together. In the past 10 years I have not asked a single member of this community to do something for me, I have not asked a single member of this community to praise me. The only thing I asked for was to act like a community.

I asked to trust each other, I asked to support the community and its meambers(i have not even asked to support me), I have asked to be honest and respectful (abilities which dont exclude each other). Not a single time in those 10 years I have asked one of you to do something for me, I have asked you to do something for the players of the community. Every suggestion that was done was at least considered, sometimes agreed, sometimes denied... afterall you cant please everyone.

What I definitly asked for was the respect for each other and other peoples work... I have not even tolerated that you talk bad about other mods or servers. That is a matter of fairplay. I also asked for trust (trust in the community and those which run it) in the same way I have granted trust to the members and clans (by allowing to run the server through the SPs, and by considering everybody of you to be a valueable member which follows the interests of the community). When you the members of this community had wishes i tried to fullfill them. Not a single member of this community can claim that I ignored suggestions or calls for help. Ive spent almost every day to work for the community, for you. You will not find many ppl that are willing and able to show such a dedication.

However - I dont like being backstabbed by a bunch of big mouths where the majority of them has not done anything good for this community. I dont like being lied to. I dont like being blamed for something I did not do or for stuff I could not do because of the missing support from exactly those big mouths. I dont like if somebody makes a promise knowing that this promise will be broken. I dont like ppl breaking rules over and over again and then finally putting the blame on others.

Trust, dedication, respect... that is what I would expect from every member of this community... for every member of this community. Tell me if i ask for too much.
I dont even deny anyone to have a free mind. It is just a matter how it is voiced. If you dont like something you can make suggestions. There are enough ppl which can voice their mind in a civilized and respectful way. They dont have to break rules or agreements to get heard.

TRF did decide against this community and its members. Obviously TRF stands high above the rules and agreements, even high above the other members. Only their way matters and if a decision does not please them they start blaming and crying. Sorry but that is what did happen. I did not hand over the community like one of them demanded. I take the blame for that. But on the other side I am not your slave. I have build up this community and did lead it through times that most other FL communities didnt survive. My decisions no matter if you like them or not where the right ones.
I am very confident that SWAT will live longer and more successful than TRF, for the simple fact that SWAT has people which can make a difference, people that can act in the interest of a community.

I have said that I will release CF1.8 if you can prove that you can act like a community, that you can solve the problems and do a bit work for the place that so far just has done work for you. Well, everbody who knows me a bit longer also knows that I keep my promises. The mod is mainly finished and looking even better than with the first beta. A few side quests are still missing, a few voices, the launcher and the flhook stuff. Everything else is done and working.
But I want to be honest to you.
I do not intend to be the communities workhorse any longer. The past 2 years I went to work early in the morning, came home to spend a few hours reading pms, mails and the forum and writing back, discussing stuff with the leaders and their members in the evening and finally working on the mod till late at night. Do this 2 years and you will notice that it ruins your health, which finally did happen to me 4 months ago. Looking back I had to realize that half the work was not neccessary because either it was not my job or I should simply have banned the involved members. I wanted to resign at the end of this year... that is what i announced in december 2008. The community totally ignored this fact and for me it is hard to give up something that has cost me so much. One the other side some ppl of this community pushed me into a direction making such a decision pretty easy with their unfair actions. The question remains if it is worth to go on. Probably it is... with the right ppl but like one of the TRF just wrote... some did not intent to join a community. As the business man that i am i would say if they dont want to be part of my "company" then i dont want to be responsible that they suffer here and throw them out. But thats just the few of a business man, not the admin that close more than just one eye to ignore mistakes of members.

Everybody can do a mistake, as long you realize it and correct it or do better next time this is absolutly ok.
I would be the last one denying a 2nd chance.
But people which think they stand high above everything are not tolerable and once trust is broken it is very hard to re-gain it. Sorry but that is a simple truth.

I did not want to come here at least till january but i was forced by the situation. I dont like the fact that i had to come to the forum that soon but i think it was neccessary. The rest is and will remain up to you.

Itd be about 2 or 3 years since I been on CF I forgot dont feel like counting but I been checking on the forums and seems kinda weird and truthfully gives me a headache reading all this (you guys should summarize)
Personally I think this is all pointless I just see a bunch of stressed out ppl taking things out on each other. I played alot of games but I really dont see why CF has so much anger issues like Op this Huor that idc but its a game ppl just have fun.

I remember I used to mess around here causing trouble really cuz it was fun even though I can say it was misunderstood cuz the reason I heard it started I really didnt remember then half the server running after some bounty XD that to me was fun cuz some rules on the server made it feel a little stress. People should just have fun no thinking about if I do this its a consequence unless its a obvious thing like you know cursing out for no reason but its a game certain glitches are meant to be exploited. I played Halo 3 for idk how long to doin stuff that was glitched all that.

I say everyone should just take a break from the forum no backtalk no anger for a week that will really be a test of how people can act and hopefully that stress and stuff wears off where ppl can just play for a while without hearing things going around. When I played even with ppl that didnt like me I talked to lots of people and heard many things to which I can say do not make sense. It would go from hey lets go ambush these IOCs doing illegal trades but I alrdy knew the story of how anger was between so some reasons the whole ambush is planed cuz deep down someone just wants payback for what the other guy said. All I can say is its a game and no offense Ive seen kids little kids teens play games continuously without nothing like this so why grown people just dont calm down get payback cuz thats natural but nothing to where you start flaming people and it turns into a big thing on the forum and thats where SPs should step in call the shots tell the guy where he went wrong problem like that solved instead of sides being taken and w/e and seriously theres alot of kiss assing going around with OP just seem to be saying things to be on his good side.

Bond, out of all the posts in the past week, yours second to OP's grant posts, is the most Optomistic. I salute you, its posts like yours that will keep this community alive, that is IF the community is willing to read your post of advice and apply it to themselves the moment they log into the forum.

Now to the rest of the community, lets end all the crap and nonsense, whatever it may be, and start fresh To hell with going on like this and try and change things. It's similar to real life.

Example:
Zimbabwe, a country just up from south africa, broke down 10 years ago. The community did it to themselves by selling the farms to homeless people so they can live shit and die there. What the homeless people COULDVE done however, is to think abit, work hard and continue to grow crops. Yet they didnt and now the country is STILL suffering to this day. It will take at least another 20 - 30 years before they are as good as they ones were.

Guess what, this community did exactly a similar situation (sorry OP for being blunt). However this is a forum community and its MUCH easier to fix than a real life country wide situation. You can all make this community as good as it was 5 years ago if you just stop acting childish, stop flaming, stop ranting, stop bullshitting and start being positive, optimistic, respectfull, thankfull and giving apart of your small work in which will in turn become a big thing if everyone gave their 1%.

That is what OP wanted from this community from day one. And it was done, but it wasnt enough. It was just WAY too little. Im guessing close to nothing at all.

So, be positive, optimistic, respectfull, thank full and give your part like OP asked, and MAYBE the community will change for the better and still live on. Besides, you still have 15 days left of December to still prove yourselve's

I can try and imagine 2 years plus of reading and responding.. I did this too an extent, but surely no were near what OP-R8R had done.

On 2nd chances I think they are a great thing and something we all need from time too time with things.

As for the original post, I think people should stop posting these topics, more likely then not I believe it does more bad then good. Sometimes you just have too sit back and accept things as they are and move on. Maybe it is hard too do, but surely worth the effort. Especially when your not really achieving anything.

Anyway as I do say, good journey, enjoy, and improve.

Lets not forget that TRF is made of individuals. It's always dangerous to say that en entire groups is something. I know for a fact there are good people in TRF. Obviously, it's not the case for all of them. Posting against the server on Moddb is very petty and stupid, but I'm certain it wasn't an organized action by TRF, just a member.

Of course a clan should be responsible for the actions of it's members. Otherwise there is no point to clans, but you shouldn't even think that all members of a clan think the same way as the others.
TRF didn't act, it's members did.

Now, can we move past the destruction and start building again. I would prefer to start the new year on a happy note.

Sry to ask but I havnt been on in a while but I remembered TRF to be pretty nice but what happened why everyone apparently hates them now?
