    I ban Michael for apparently needing a commissar assigned due to thread rules.
    Also, you might be delighted in that BFG Armada campaign allows you to ally with Eldar. (though you have to do couple of missions together with a Eldar fleet, but the Eldar you're working with has a flakking Voidstalker with Biel-Tan favour, so it's ok... on the other hand he also has a death wish, there's no other explanation to getting into a lance range of the Planet Killer AND slowing down)

    I ban Michael 'cos, pity there's only Imperial campaign. Sure as sure Chaos Campaign would have been fun, with gaining favors from the Four, and even perhaps giving Failbaddon his arms back (despite Failbaddon not even failing in the Gothic War: in fluff he managed to nab two Blackstone Fortresses, which were an objective all along, and Planet Killer was eventually rebuilt.


    There's still a skirmish for all four sides though. I more or less started playing with Chaos, as they have less macro-abilities that require a lot of control (such as torpedoes, Nova Cannons and pulsars), can put a long-ranged guns on most ships (not to mention all the strike craft - quoth Vriska Serket, ALL OF THEM) and also provide balance between speed, agility and armor. Not to mention their ships look awesome (especially if you slap a Mark Of Tzeentch, but it's situational at best)
