Do you mean where you can get 1 shot off with missile lock working but then need to change aim to another target and then re-target your foe if you want to have a chance to hit them?.....if so, well my experience is that its all ships although some systems are better than others. I don't know if its a serverload thing, my crappy pc or something else

i mean when the missiles aim for a ship part but suddenly fly into different directions

yes....thats what i was referring to also. It changes for me at different times of day and at different sytems.
If theres a more specific way I can answer your question, give me a hint and I will try to communicate better my observances.
Marauder outEdit: BTW, I do have higher ping that alot of others due to where I connect from.....I don't know if that matters

there is possibility that other destroyers also have problemosthere are 5 more ships added from the side of the CF this bug (but i forgot almost all .. long time not playing and using bugs, lol )
also, Osiris seems to have no problems to enter Hyperspace and to get away from DK's with no problem ... also a possiblity that it has this bug

I didnt see missiles loosing lock on either Saracen or Lagg yet. U can shoot both ships from all sides and the missiles will always hit.
Sometimes the Hardpoints of the Lagg absorb some hulldamage but i didnt see that happen on Saracen.
Chimera is definetly best bugged ship with its mosquito sized hittable area and rockets hit only when shot from the front (thats what OP means).
If I'm wrong with any of this plz show me ingame -
I don't know any other ship (besides the vannilla ones) where the missils actualy dodge the ship, when shooted from side.

Yeah I enjoyed flying that ship but had to stop after a while as too many people liked to test it rather than fight it
We should leave it alone and consider its idiocincracy as the first Crossfire inbuilt ECM system - put that in the infocards

we are not talking about missil lock failure that can be fixed be retargeting, so far as I know that's a Freelancer Engine bug that may be experienced with any ship in any server.

trains' advantage on cds is intended, imho, and i would not really like to see that changed, cause trains could not b used anymore then, especially against agressive npcs.
u cannot stop a train from behind while it's in a cruise, if it has no containers, since u have nothing to hit from behind except containers' carrier, and that one has little to do with engines, which r up front. so, a train with no containers is usually hard to target with cms, since u must hit cockpit (usually impossible from behind). the same goes for guns too, and imho, it's perfectly normal that way and should not b changed.
u still can stop it with cd guns, anyway, if u really need that. also mosquito missiles usually stop it too, because of their speed, but it depends upon place of hit.

CD= Cruise Disruptors> Intended to disrupt the Cruise speed of the ship.
CMs=Counter mesures > Intended to distract CD and Miss tracked on ship.The problem is that CD on trains doesnt work if you shoot them from behind and more that 3 or 4 hundred Meters away...but well...i think its a fair adventage for trains to escape...(This is said by a pirate).

i'm glad u agree on this. it makes trains interesting targets to chase, imho, and many ppl like a good chase. -
