I just finished the the Planet Lost Paradise rework
... much higher details on the water, the isles, the buildings look more detailed and older, a new planetary docking ring was created, the visibility bug of the antenna got fixed, reflections on the water, weather effects (its raining) and the sound of ocean waves
(note: the screenshots were taken during the production process like almost all other screenshots on this thread so there might be old CF1.7 elements on the first pics which look different on screenshots that were taken later)

its been a very long time since i had freelancer installed let alone played crossfire, i think it was still 1.5 when i was last around and i am glad i decided to see what's going on.
one thing i am wondering however is what the single player is going to be like? (unfortunately i no longer have the time to fully take part in server activities )

The ''lights'' on those docking ports, are they textured or dynamic lighting? (Yes, still tracking this mod)
textured lights... i initially used dynamic lights but FL has some limitations on the number of light sources that can be rendered and since ive added many other dynamic lights to CF already (such as lights for guns, explosions, missiles, flickering lights around solar anomalies,...) i decided that its not worth letting the game crash for another light source that can be "faked" with textures
