Are you a freelancer who likes to have a bit of freedom? Are you the sort who likes to fly and deal with others on your own terms? Bet you're hungry for a bit of action and adventure, huh? Well, if so there's a clan here on CF that is just perfect for you. Lo and behold, the Lost Prophets!
This rowdy, whisky-totting band of scallywag pirates has a long, rich history here on the Crossfire Server. Whether it's simple looting and pillaging, heists of epic proportions, or just plain old saying "tax plz," these guys stir up a bit of trouble wherever they go. When they don't get what they want people die - and generally that entails spectacular fireworks, train captains scared senseless, and a host of frenzied cops. When the fuzz shows up, LP isn't afraid to speak up - these pirates have class. "Hello Mr. Officer" comes the innocent greeting... all too often these pirates seem untouchable, after all. That's because these pirates call the shots - they decide when things get out of hand or when everything stays cool. Whether it's the rum-breath or the talent for taunting we shall never know, but when an irked cop finally pulls a Rodney King on LP it certainly makes for an incredible PvP experience!
What, that isn't enough?
Well let's take a look at the benefits, shall we? Enrollment into the Lost Prophet clan means unlimited access to the fascinating and mysterious system of Daedalus! Somewhere in those eerie, swirling mists there are space stations and a pirate-run planet. The system is also the CF universe's sole manufacturer of pilotable, House cruisers and destroyers. These are arguably the most powerful combat vessels available in the whole mod! Other notables such as the Tempest and Crusader fighters of the old Alliance can also be found here. By the way, you are also only two jumps away from the universe's vastest liquor stockpile!
On top of all that, the clan in general is full of such memorable character. I could spoil all the fun by recounting all the incredible exploits of the likes of Canoso, Inferno, Privvy, Amos, and Kwitz - or by describing to you the ravishing wenches on the Pla... err... don't let me ruin the intrigue for you! If you are a pirate, smuggler, or simply someone who likes a bit of danger and good times, these folks are perfect for you. Go onto the server and speak to one of their reps or visit the LP Forum to find out for yourself!
UPDATE 04/03/2012:
{LP} is now re recruiting as our offices have opened up finally because we actually got power at Station Reese a month ago, but that's a different story 
Anyways, we plan to be the most active clan and re-sail the seven seas as we did in 1.7 and before, aiming to be the most active pirate clan. With SMG having Iceman only on regularly and one fallen is online only to date; {LP} seem to be the most active in the pirating department! The pirate roleplay is one of the best roleplays on the server, but one that needs to be reborn with {LP} on the face of it 
If you want to join us in retaking the server and sailing the seven seas as our ancestors (Canoso, Inferno, Privvy, Amos, Saxon-Raider, and Kwitz) did, then please submit an application to join {LP} using the {LP} Community Group and submitting an application in a thread on: Who you are, what are your in game characters, how long on Crossfire, why be a pirate?, and just some fun facts about you in game (a dare you have done, some crazy achievement, etc.) We (Marauder, and I, and Inferno if he is on) will review it and see if you are a match!
