Hello,
I would like to repost my earlier suggestion as there was no answer, and CF 2.0 is coming closer.
Huor: about ASF/CSF setup - if players with these licenses have to be hostile to the opposite faction, could you remove any relations between ASF/CSF and other Sirius groups? When you're forced to kill ASF or CSF all the time, a number of other factions will very quickly become red (especially if some of them are already at -0.59 because of RP license).

Hello,
thanks for making this thread! Starflyers' invincibility caused some confusion last time, but at the end the event was so fun that everyone forgot to report this issue afterwards
I only would like to point out that the true reason of this anti-PvP protection was the lack of money on new chars. This was demonstrated when denne and I took some credits from bank and immediately started to get damage, and also when PeaseDuke became invincible during the event while getting low on funds. And at the very beginning, when we assembled in Arena, only players with higher rank were able to fight each other.
Therefore I suppose "Starflyer flyers" can't get bankrupt and sent to Manhattan because they get invincible earlier (or could this not work if they have high rank due to expensive equipment mounted??). The advice for the participants to have some credits on hand is valid in any case, but maybe we should check at which exact level a player starts to get damage.

P.S. Giving prizes before the event start is also a solution
You're welcome!
@NucNuc: hmm maybe this Cresthen guy was right about something, even though his choice of "best" demos was beyond any criticism...
For most demos there are multiple downloads and some may get broken, so instead of providing direct links I will add explanations on where to find the "Download" button.
Okay?

Not sure about that... You won't see even half of the beauty on these over-compressed youtube videos.
A "real" demo is when you download and run the executable on your PC - then you can see it in 32-bit colours, 60 FPS, and in your native screen resolution.
I refer to Pouet pages because they have more info + download links + youtube links (for preview only!) all at the same time.
And screenshots under the links are supposed to give some initial positive impression

Nice I hope this means people also checked out the demos.
But strange, no one commented yet...
Anyway, here you have another two!

QuoteWhat's a demo ?
That's a question akin to "where do babies come from" in that many have tried and failed explaining it without making it sound absolutely ridiculous.
Demos are the things that happen when people who are interested in computer sit down together and make something fun and spectacular and challenging to program. They work on it until it becomes a final work of art, then they pack up their sleeping bags and travel to a demoparty where they enter it to a competition. That's pretty much the gist of it.

Lexicon-in-table test: Oxygen |
Hmm when I press "Preview", damn lexicon is always there even though "Recognize lexicon articles automatically" box in Settings is unchecked.
Looks like settings are not applied when previewing a post.
Also I wonder where default post settings can be changed once and for all, so as not to unheck boxes every time...

Hello,
as we already discussed in game, I would like to try myself for this kind of work - hope there will be any use from me.
